Ogre, sounds great. if you have any op ideas, let me know. I just got an update from my uncle, and he said the water level is almost chest high this year, so it might be unpassable unless you like swimming.
The other problem is some of the bridges have got swept away by the higher water levels, but that's more my problem than yours.
Lastly, the largest hurdle we have is a lack of camping space, but again, well figure something out. He's also been in contact with his insurance agent who's a little iffy on the idea.
We hope to get it open next year some time, and as of now build dates are being drawn up.

I live right in mount pleasant. I would love to have a field. I wouldn't mind helping him out to be honest. I would need to see what we have to work with. But, it could turn up to be a beast of a field if it is right.

My team and I would love to see a new field open. We would must likely come out often. I agree with the village idea, urban area surrounded by forest. Sounds perfect you'd have our moneys.

I live 45 minutes away from Mt. Pleasant and I think it would be a nice change to have a field closer to home instead of having to drive 2 hours to Kalamazoo whenever I want to play.

As of now, he's trying to work with his insurance agency, but they seem horrified by the idea of letting us play there. I'm really hoping I didn't post this and raise peoples hopes just to watch the idea fall apart.

What Insurance policy do you guys have, we have state farm and they don't care as long as everyone is properly protected.

Too true. He's gotten approval to play on the land: but only 16 acres, and even then full face masks, no shooting within 50 feet of each other, and a slew of other rules apply.

Biggest thing in Negotiations is walk away power, Make farmers think if they won't provide what you want, you have the ability to go find another insurance provider that will play ball. I got a discount on my car insurance that way actually.

We've already talked to home-owners, who isn't much better. St Farm is my insurance company, hopefully they put out a better offer.

Yeah, I mean i'm right in between shepherd and mount pleasant. But, I honestly don't see how the insurance can be that bad if you just do a fps/feet chart. But, then again I know a lot of natives around here that got a shit ton of land. So, who knows but, I honestly think it would be a great idea for airsofting.

It would be the biggest (And pretty much only...) field in central michigan. I'd definitively come.
