I recently had a new lower receiver installed on my M4, and now all my mags are loose. I've tried tape, but it always slips off and leaves residue. I have heard of shrink wrap tape though, so I might look into that a but more. But do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

What mags are you currently running? And have you tried putting in different magazines in?

Whenever my mags won't feed in my AEG, I put a small strip of velcro in the front or back of the mag well and that usually makes them feed perfectly.

I'm using a lancer tactical, D-Boys, and JG, and all won't feed right. They are all Hi-caps. Coletrain I think I might put a strip of Velcro in the mag well, and see if that helps.

Most of the M4's out there will run MAG Mid caps pretty decent. I run MAG brand in Magpul, CA, and KWA lowers without a problem.

Mag mids won't run in my vfc 416 lower. All it took though was done electrical tape layered up and the problem was, partially, solved. I can't run hi-caps now so I'm going to try Velcro strips along the back spine of the mags.

I swear by Elite Force midcaps. I like throwing my mags while I reload, and at $50 for a set of 10, I can afford to do it. Yes they are plastic but they are incredibly durable and have taken multiple 400fps shots at point blank without breaking. (i play CQB twice a week in an ex-apartment complex)They feed my 40rps vfc mk18 mod 0 just fine, and I have fed them in an XCR and a G&P magpul moe carbine just find as well.

I also had an issue with mags in my G&G combat machine. I was able to fix the issue by swapping in a new different mag release. Don't know if it'll help you but might be worth a shot.
