One of the best events of the year so far. Plenty of players from all over, met lots of new people. Had a blast!
Gameplay was spread out across the whole field, firefights everywhere. Lots of objectives, however most were take this prop here, now defend it for X minutes. Had some team balancing issues... Green was close to 2:1 at one point.
Mir tactical, as always, impressed me. They know what to do and how to do it well. They had plenty of refs who actually took care of all issues quickly and professionally.
Thanks guys, can't wait for next year's!

I had an awesome time. Mir Tactical is a great group. The weather stayed nice. This was as close to a perfect weekend of airsoft that I think I'm ever going to have. Green heavily outnumbered tan like Reaper said, but the skill level of the tan team closed the gap quite a bit.
The final battle was fairly epic. It was all confined to the castle area, and green ended it half an hour early by wiping out the tan forces. Again I just had an awesome time and can't wait to head back next year.
The only problem I really experienced is that some unapproved smoke was deployed on the field and I had to head off the field for a short time due to respiratory problems, but that was addressed during the after lunch briefing.

This event was my first opportunity to play at Sherwood Forest, and I was not disappointed. I attended as a day player on Saturday only, so my observations only reflect that first day of the event.
The field itself is simply amazing. Aside from the hundreds of bunkers constructed from railroad ties, there are at least a half dozen large, two story structures scattered throughout the field. The major building, of course, is the massive three story castle in the field's center. Surrounded with smaller bunkers, a moat and a defensive wall, the castle has dozens of rooms, multiple stairwells and numerous firing points.
The lines for registration and payment were short. There was a vendor on-site in addition to Red Bull girls and an ESPN cameraman. The line for the six chronos was quick and efficient. The chrono referees used both FPS and joules to chrono Polarstar rifles. They also required tournament locks. This is a step in the right direction, and as a Polarstar user myself I was pleased to see the event hosts making this effort.
The game started on time.
Our commander was active handing out missions and communicating with the various squads.
Due to the large size of the field, I think that parts of it were under-utilized. The majority of gun-fights I found myself in were between relatively small groups of players because each team was forced to cover huge areas. I would have liked to see the event hosts concentrate both teams in one general location to struggle over a single, massive objective.
I, personally, did not hear any complaints or witness any issues about hit calling, although it did seem like many people did not have kill rags. This resulted in some players being overshot.
Overall, it was a worthwhile day of play. I wish I had been able to stay for the entire two day event, and will definitely make Pandora's Box one of the major events I attend every summer.

Gimpalong has hit the nail square on the head.
The only thing I have to add is that the layout was, in my opinion, perfect. Some places were congested and maneuvering under fire was intense. While at the same time sneaking around to flank was almost always an option.
A great event and I'm already planning on hitting up the next one.
