I like the shoulder pads personally. If you don't have a collar they can chafe your neck though.

Actually [Knief], It is not a Condor. Rothco makes that carrier, and it is a lot better quality then the condor's under $100. If you actually had one like me, you would say it is a good option (not the best, but still good), unless you like paying for who has their name on the product rather then the quality of said product. But this isn't a debate about brand names. It isn't as if these companies make the exact same product, slap their unique label on them and then charge different prices. Different plate carriers have different designs. A JPC is different than an EPC, which is different than an SPC, which is different than an OTV, which is different than a Banshee, which is different than an APC... and on and on. Does that Rothco PC have a kangaroo pouch, or a shoulder pad system designed to route comms? Does it have a quick pull release? Does it have an air-lite cummerbund like the JPC? Is it made of 1000 denier or 500 denier? Does it use the 6 1/2 or tubes system like the FirstSpear Strandhogg? Is it super light weight like the BFG PLATEminus? Different PCs, with different options for different applications. That Rothco PC may be a good product; I don't know as I've never owned one. Despite that, the OP asked about three specific plate carriers presumably because those PCs have features that he wants. Let me put it another way: Let's say you made a post asking whether to buy an M4A1, M16A4 or M16A2, and then I posted about how you should buy an AK-47. My post wouldn't be helpful to you since you're not interested in an AK-47. Now, it's entirely fair to debate whether or not the OP should get a Pantac, Flyye, AWS or LBT 6094 as the first three options are basically replicas of the fourth option, but that's not what you're doing. edit: plus, it looks like Knief was right anyway. It seems very likely that the Rothco PC is a Condor MOPC under a different label. Here's a closer look: Linky

Thanks for the help guys, I think I'm going to go with the OCPC for the price and it seems pretty decently built.
