I'm having a hard time writing what I really want to say in a way that won't get me banned. Second... The amount of disrespect I saw from a small group of players was absolutely ridiculous. Every single trigger pull was followed by "Call your hit." Just so you know, you were shooting into the other teams spawn, which was why people weren't really paying too much attention to you. Also the amount of loud swearing out of that group was beyond ridiculous. I apologize to those who had their younger siblings with them. They had been asked to stop several times, but would not listen. Yesterday is probably the first time that I can say I did not have fun at airsoft. The combination of the above events was rather upsetting, and I know there were many others who were pretty upset with yesterday. Partially quoted, but this. I PM'd Pagan directly about some of these things yesterday, because that's something myself and my group noticed a lot of. It was beyond baffling that there was such a lack of respect. I know I don't post here often enough for people to go "Oh, that guy", but we just about go to every No Limit event when they happen. This was, beyond the kid who screaming about punching or killing people last year every time he was shot, the worse I've ever seen it here. Regardless, we had our fun. We made light of the situation, joked about it and kept playing. I had to leave a little early to take my brother in law to work, but until then, we kept having our fun. It became VERY frustrating at times, almost making us want to just leave, but we stuck through it. One other thing we noticed, and I know it's rec, is the "balance" of how teams were. It's just a suggestion, but the Green seemed to almost double the Tan team. Would it be far-fetched to maybe try to keep camo restrictions? Because it hasn't been the first time it's really been like this. Just an idea.

When will the next no limits game happen? I'll try and make the next game. Sounds like it was an awesome day.
Does anybody have any video from the event?

Skippy... It really is the first time that teams were so far out of balance that I have seen. It would be pretty hard to put in camo restrictions for a rec game, as some players that are coming may only have the one set. If we have it happen again, we may need to use caution tape on players arms or something to that effect.
I think in the next event thread we could ask to post their camo with their RSVP so we can try to work on balance before the day of the event.

That is pretty shitty news about the Masada. I was hoping someone took it home on accident but it doesn't look that way anymore. It's pretty awesome of Valken to offer up a replacement like that. Props to them. Valken saved me from having to order G&G bio's for Northern Light so that was pretty awesome.
I knew it was going to be a hectic day being a 100+ rec game but the suicide kings kept it going. Several times I missed playing a game because I didn't hear that one was starting. I'm not sure how they were announced but maybe use a whistle or something before it's called out. I heard the briefing and raffle calls easily so I thought I would have heard the game calls. Outside of that and the "call your hits" crew I had a good time. One player I talked to (didn't get his name, was on tan side) had suggested setting up a game that used the whole hill, castle, pavilion area. Sort of like get the VIP out of the house, have him put in a "code" at the pavilion, then exfil at the castle. I don't know how the rules and such could be set up for it but it seemed like a cool idea. Maybe have one team constantly respawn at the castle until the other team gets there then they only have one life? I dunno, just an idea for you guys.
During the capture the flag game I managed to trip and fall on a little mound, twice. The damn thing was right before a bunker and while running to cover the first time I ended up flat on my face. The second time I ran into the bunker thinking the mound was further to the left and I went head over heals and landed on my left side. Shortest games of the day and I busted my ass twice.
Looking forward to the next game.

Once we get the donation situation figured out, I know I would like to pitch in some. But on a side note, I was going through my tool box and found a flat head screwdriver missing, which has a similar handle to this one: img811.imageshack.us/img811/8739/1370893985093.jpgI know it is only a screwdriver, and it was more of an issue of forgetting to return it(or me forgetting to take it possibly) as opposed to it being stolen, but I always like for my items to be accounted for. Thanks. PM me if by chance you know where it might be. If this is who Im thinking it is, Im the one who borrowed your screwdriver, You weren't around when I left so I set it back on your table before I headed out. Hopefully someone at Action picked it up, really sorry about that.

Yeah I normally don't post too much either but I just wanted to agree with the precautions to balance teams from now on if possible, I know a lot of the guys on green were practicing for NL or whatever but still. We seemed to give green a decent challenge most of the day any-who before the mixed teams. I was really hoping for some all out pavilion, castle, urban area games where we could really spread out and use more small group tactics but hopefully next time. I was also a little surprised on the amount of dudes raging and name calling, I personally wasn't offended but my group ran with a good amount of younger dudes today and some of you should definitely be better roll models.
Other than that sorry to hear about the Masada, Sunday was still one of no limits better action days regardless of all the chaos.

The reason we didn't do more urban and pavilion is due to the area being used for a good chuck of the day for the new player events.

I've actually put together a "MilSim" type event with progressive/dynamic scenarios to fit the field, just need to sit down with Pagan and a few of the guys to hammer out details and if we could pull it off. We'd need the whole field again so we shall see. The reason we didn't do more urban and pavilion is due to the area being used for a good chuck of the day for the new player events. Ya I did take up the morning on that part of the field with the new guys but from a learning perspective it has a bit of everything, close cover, open field and the "urban" spot. It should have been pretty open after lunch as I had to bail early. Its a real bummer about the AEG. I left my Massada with a friend when I had to leave, when I heard this I nearly crapped my pants so I understand how it must feel. Good to see the community coming together and making a really shitty situation a positive for MI airsoft. I think it would also be cool to do some small group stuff if we can section off a part of the field away from the main rec game, 5v5, 10v10 what have you...the pace in an outdoor setting slows down and the adrenaline really kicks in at least it does for me - you really have to out think the opposition and its a break from 30-50 people per side spraying BB's at anything that moves across from them.

Usually I would start one of these threads, but when I got home I pretty much collapsed into a chair for an hour. I had a good time, despite the issues the appeared at times, the ones that always show up at every event in someway, the inevitability of the game itself. It was nice to meet new and old faces, drive everyone nuts with my Real Sword Dragunov, get a few kills (including a bang kill that may or may not involve a teammate being in the line of fire as well). Somewhat sad I could not sell a thing (with some stuff decreasing in value due to accidents), but that is the nature of life. I just hope if I got photos taken of me in game that I was not completely looking like a "durr". Many thanks to the lad who happened to help set my hop-up for the day. I barely could grasp how to get it somewhat decent. Also, just because I like to end on a high note. Glory to Arstotzka!
