This is far worse than your last two recruitment threads.

So we would need 5556 active members of MiA in order for 1 person to make it on their team, given the stats mentioned. Unless my math is wrong. Also known as, your team has reached its peak, and will only go downhill from here. 1-.999=.001 1-.82=.18 .18*.001=.00018 1/.00018=5555.55556 people, or 5556 if we are not willing to cut someone in half.
Edited due to more accurate information received.

Seriously, isn't this like the 3rd team that's tried to start up that's been named F.E.A.R.? I saw posters at Eastside last summer and at least 1 thread since November for it, and I'm fairly sure they were different teams each time.

I just don't understand why you would be so unoriginal as to rip off the title of a well known video game. That being said, he does have his right to post it here. He's not violating any rules so we really shouldn't have thread crapped him like we did.
Nevermind...
But...
That said, I deleted my previous post.

Honestly, if you guys dont like what i post dont read it. I have followed all the recruitment rules. And to judge if my team is indeed "Elite" you need to play with us or join the team. Then and only then can you judge us. And for the statistics message me for more details and i will show you my math.

Reaper,
Maintaining a defensive attitude rather than addressing the problems in your original post is only going to exacerbate the problem. You should probably work on crafting a better, less "cool" post and you'll both attract more interested players and earn less ire from the standing community. Calling yourself elite, whether you are or not, pisses in the face of the sportsmanship that we all pride ourselves on. Acting exclusive when you have an open recruitment thread is hypocritical. Posting a bunch of one line catch phrases instead of a well constructed paragraph is irritating. You should have stuck with your original thread, which was a much better approach, rather than have me delete it to put up this one. While these guys are somewhat out of line, they're also pointing out serious flaws in the way you're approaching this. You can keep banging your head into the wall the way you are, or you can smarten up, change your approach, and move around the wall.

Since this is hard core and extreme training, does this involve hazing?
And how did you come up with that percentage??

The only thing I can think of is that he had 25 people "try out" and 21 dropped. Otherwise, he's rounding. Maybe 10 out of 12?

Ghost, the training involves different physical drills (ie: Running, push ups, pull ups) To join a person must be able to do so many of them in a certain amount of time. Most people quit when they hear they have to do that. The percentage is based off of the number of people that joined out of how many applied, We had 8 people make it out of 46 that applied. 8/46= 0.17301304347 1.00-0.1730134347= .8269865653 or so. .8269865653 x 100 = 82.69865653 or so. So i was mistaken it is only 82% that dont make it, not 84%. and for that i apologize.
Knife, I was taught not to move around problems, and hide from them, i face the problem in the face, solve it and move strait through. I am being defensive rather then aggressive as to Make more problems. And this thread is to inform people of our team, to join you have to send me a PM, then i will send you the application, after that we will review it, then if it gets approved we will inform you and then we will find a location for the person to come to and do the physical part, after that if we like the person and they seem nice we will let them join.
Also about you saying " Calling yourself elite, whether you are or not, pisses in the face of the sportsmanship that we all pride ourselves on." Well i would like to say ElITE does not mean we are the best, it just means we are a very good well rounded team. And for me to " piss in the face of sportsmanship" well that would be the case if i said we are the best of the best and no one is in the same league as us (or something along those lines) and if all you can do is complain about what i post, dont read anything I post. Their is much more i would like to say to you but as i am a nice guy i will refrain from doing so.

ie: Running, push ups, pull ups While I have no interest in joining the team, I am curious as to what these requirements are.

They are basically the same standard as the military. It is sad how many people quit before trying. But if you do try and fail, you will get put in a training program to help you get in shape, and be able to pass the physical part. But the exact details i will not put on here

All i can do is tell you to look up the Minimum Military Physical requirements. Those requirements for the 2 mile run, sit ups, pushups, and pull ups are almost exactly like ours. That is all I am going to say.
