With the way that KWA's Gbb-p/r Hop is designed it wouldn't accommodate a R-hop. But the way it is designed from the factory is *Very* Similar to a flat hop. The bucking is essentially squashed on top (especially in the Pistol models)to meet with the bb for greater surface contact.

What weight bbs are you using with the new bucking. The reaps are supposed to like heavier bbs.

I had this problem just recently with my KWA MP7. All I did was change the stock bucking to a REAPs just to try it out and boy does it work great. I'm getting 250 ft+ no problem. But this should be the same problem with yours. Or you have the hop up on maximum...

The problem is with the REAPS bucking. But it seems to be working better without the ball bearing and after a couple mags of breaking it in.
