I would like to staet off by thanking Canto and the rest of FLAK for hosting a great game. As the Tan Commander for the game, I felt as though the tan team did a great job taking their orders and they did every objective within our alloted time that we had and the objectives that there was no set time, they did a great job completing them in a timely fashion. Overall, we did a great job and it was a pleasure to lead these guys; we had great organization for a team of people that haven't played together. I gave each squad an objective that I knew they would be able to complete. Shout out to Squad 7 for doing great with being the main assault squad. My fellow contractors . Shout out to Dingo witb Paliside and his Squad 18 for getting our objectives completed fast and being my main squad to go to for flanking and completing objectives that were all the way accross the field. They and Squad 7 were my main two squads to complete objectives. Another shout out to FST (Fire Support Team) to holding down Point A and holding the Western Flank. We never lost that side during the duration of the war and they were even at a stalemate and I never heard one complaint from them about it either. I was in great contact with the FST Squad Leader and that squad was great and supporting the entire team when we needed it. The Asshat team was in FST and they were a pleasure to play with. Thanks to all that I played with. I hope to play with all you guys in the near future.

I personally had a great time along with the 2 people I brought along with me. Thank you again Canto for throwing another awesome game.
I'm grateful how well the team coordinated and how well Phantom organized us, The communication and tactics were solid. Had a great time seeing some familiar faces and some new ones.

My two teammates and I were walk-on contractors on Squad 7, first time playing that field and we had a great time. Major thanks to Canto and FLAK for hosting and to Phantom G3 for his services as Tan Commander.
Had a blast running through the swamp with all the guys on 18 and with FST. Their previous knowledge of the field was a lifesaver. We'll definitely be returning.

Thanks to everyone that attended Operation: Cresting Water over the weekend! I don't think the weather could have been more perfect for spring airsoft in Michigan! It's always good to see lots of old, familiar faces and lots of new ones as well. For all of the experienced players that made it out, good to see you all and I can't wait until our July event! To all you new/novice players; it was a pleasure to meet you all and I hope to see you all again soon. I'm personally excited to be adding some new structures to the field. Middle village here we come! Now onto the gritty stuff... Team Mayhem and Cameron DeWalt (Callsign: Italy), In the nine years that I have been playing airsoft, I have never in my life seen such a poor display of sportsmanship and immature behavior as you and your cohorts displayed this past weekend... Assaulting a Player - You really walked over and clocked some kid in the face over "not calling hits"? Did you ever seriously consider the fact that your shots may not actually be hitting your target? These are airsoft BB's, not precision made projectiles. Open Consumption of Alcohol on Premises - Not a single one of you asked permission from either myself or the field owner before your team started cracking Labatt Blue's in the parking lot and drinking them on break. I've heard your reasoning; just because a paintball bachelor party had a few beers... That's not a good enough reason, they also asked the field owner. You did not... Belligerent Behavior When Asked To Put Away Alcohol - I asked you to put away the alcohol once. When my girlfriend (Hippie), also a field authority asked you all to again put it away, you swore at her and told her to go away... Not acceptable. Unsafe Behavior In The Staging Area - "Good game tan team!" Then you unload your weapons in the staging area? Really?... From this point foward, Team Mayhem and any of their affiliates will no longer be allowed at any airsoft or paintball event held by Armory Airsoft or Hole In The Wall Paintball. If your group decides to show up at an event hosted by us, you will be asked to leave. If you fail to do so immediately, we will call the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department to remove you from the property. I will also be stressing that other event coordinators and field operators throughout the state read this post and make similar decisions barring these players...

I don't believe anyone had a camera going unfortunately. It's especially sad since it was such PERFECT weather for the day! Can't wait till we get those new buildings up. Hopefully the season will stay this nice.
Phantom, you did a fine job as CO. I know Dingo appreciated the opportunity to get off the leash and get some trigger time in. I was happy to keep the lines of communication flowing, though i hadn't realized i was that out of shape after all that running back and forth! And i THINK i made a bad call or two with identifying some of the objectives that messed things up a tad. I apologize for that and will make it a point to confer with Canto on such details in the future.
FST (i hadn't realized Phantom was calling us that, slowed some things down early on) took their job and did it without complaint and that's great. Tpot and his buddy made a sniper spotter medic team and Rachel with Mike "Mister Rogers/Uncle Sam" did the same, keeping permanent resources pretty evenly distributed. So we were pretty damn hard to get rid of in our own turf.
Palisades, always pro, always reliable.
Squad 7 I really enjoyed working and talking with you folks. This was my first time with ya'll and i found you to be competent confident and capable. The highlight of my day was marching you guys on down to the airfield and to heartbreak for the demo objective in advance of Palisades. It's those kinds of things that are for me really rewarding in airsoft. So i look forward to you folks coming back out.
P* users. Thank you for your tips, they helped, i'm still retuning mine. It was also no end of cool to see other custom jobs like mine on the field and learn a few new tricks.
Weather was perfect, mud didn't bother me, no BUGS! I had a great time on the field and i'm happy to see that having the paintballers there didn't really cause us any problems. Saw some confusion from the new folks in Deadwood, no big decal, was corrected as quickly as we could or compensated for.Though most of the game i didn't see any green players, just the kids i popped off and the sneaky guys in the grass with the medic low crawling him up. Sneaky sneaky! Got shot a couple times but always had a medic nearby and that's what i always like to see is medics who know HOW to do their job and do it RIGHT! Thank you!

In the nine years that I have been playing airsoft, I have never in my life seen such a poor display of sportsmanship and immature behavior as you and your cohorts displayed this past weekend... I find this funny in that in the over 9 years I have played, I have never seen such blatant cheating as I did from the tan team. That probably doesn't include the entire tan team, but I can definitely say that most of the ones I came into contact with did not call their hits. Even with the other members on the green team (outside of Mayhem) said the same thing. Having played this game for as long as I have, I know that in a lot of cases you can be shooting outside your area of effectiveness. And for the most part I take that into account before I start screaming call your hits or anything, but when I see somebody's face twitching from me hitting them and they don't call their hits. That's flat out bullshit. This games supposed to be about the honor system. Canto, you were being told of this all game, and you were surprised it hadn't escalated sooner? When even with nine people shooting at one to two guys on full auto within 40 feet and apparently he was so agile he missed every bb that came at him? I don't think so. I loved how eventually you simply said, "sorry guys, aim for somewhere that hurts". Really? If I would have known in advance that's how the game would end up, you couldn't have paid me to come out. Also, it's funny that you banned Italy for assault, when the other guy was the one to hit him first. So is the other guy banned as well? Did you ask anyone else or did you just take his word for it? He merely retaliated. Honestly even without being banned, I probably wouldn't attend any event hosted by you Canto after that display of bullshit throughout the entire evening. It felt as if the mods were doing nothing to address what was happening. This was why I left early, before the second game. If players are going to cheat, unless the mods are going to babysit the cheating players, it won't change the tide of the game. So there was honestly no point in staying.

So there was honestly no point in staying. Exactly, thus you were not there for it. I find it funny you focus on the assault as opposed to the other three points I listed as well. I've seen my fair share of hot tempers flare at events and honestly the assault is not the primary point. All of your teams behavior as a whole is the problem. Poor sportsmanship and immaturity sums it up pretty well as far as I'm concerned. So, I hope your boys enjoyed those beers; because its the last they'll get there.

Whitey from Team Mayhem here. Havent been in the airsoft scene that long and Operation Cresting Water was my first milsim. From my experience the first half was fun but after the first mission I noticed that the milsim was falling apart. There were players in the areas that were out of bounds shooting at green team. I shot a few people and they did call their hits but there were a lot that weren't. Even when I was dead with a kill rag above my head with no one around me I was still getting shot at. I waved to the players shooting at me to show that I was out but still kept shooting at me from a pretty close distance. I felt that the milsim was poorly organized. Would suggest more people to moderate and ref the games next time. Found that most the claims against Team Mayhem were bullshit. Many members on our team kept their cool. A couple of us left early because we had broken guns and it was a long day. Would like to say that the tan team also had a poor temper. Well that whole beer thing was bullshit also we werent harming anyone with that. You even walked up to us and didn't say anything about the beers while I was there. All and all I just think this event was poorly moderated. Way to single out Mayhem from everyone that played due to one incident of someone getting Mike Tyson'd. Can never have too many onions!

No, I definitely told you all to finish them quickly and stop drinking (which is a courtesy at that). But you all continued to laugh and loiter in the corner of the parking lot. I also checked on you all repeatedly and you were still all drinking over there.
You may remember me sitting on the trunk of a car,
I'm sorry that your entire team has a sportsmanship issue, that sucks for you guys. Myself nor any other event coordinator really has the time or patience to deal with antics like this.
You're absolutely right! I'm letting you take the fall for this. I'm letting you guys take the fall for being extremely obnoxious poor sports, for grossly unsafe behavior in the safe zone, for drinking booze in the parking lot without consent (after being asked to finish quickly at put it away), and for insubordination to field authorities. Team Mayhem is appropriate, you guys are obnoxious and trouble.
Team Shellshocked - You guys are fine, you're not included with Mayhem.

What about the other players shooting their guns in the parking lot towards the road?

I've had no reports of anyone shooting towards the road in the parking lot until this time. Generally speaking, a player or two may dry fire a weapon a time or two in the parking lot.
I was aware of a few players shooting towards the farm fields (North) and towards the far edge of Heartbreak Ridge (South). Which considering what is out there beyond the areas in question is completely fine.
Considering this is coming from an account that was just created and has two posts; I smell a troll...

This is Godzilla from Team Mayhem, first off I'd like to say that Italy was not at fault for hitting the kid because he acted in self defense. The kid hit Italy first because he got shot up close and Italy was defending himself. This is my first Milsim and I'd like to say that it was not properly organized and that Mayhem should not be banned from there, we are never going to play there again. I would also like to say that it is unfair to us that you are going to tell every other event holder to ban us as well and you know that is bullshit. A for the alcohol Italy never said get the fuck away from him because I was there and so were others. Also, you never helped the green team because they found what channel we were on and held down the button so we could not communicate with our other teammates. This event was all messed up from the beginning! You need to fix a lot of your shit before you start another Milsim! MAYHEM RULES!!!!!
