My guys and I had a great time today. Thank you ATS for hosting. Special thanks to Impulse for the story line and reffing duties. I like how the game was broken into stages, seemed to prevent stalemates for the most part. Using the southwest corner of the field was a nice change as well. There were no firefights at the bridge that I seen, that was a good change of pace.
Seemed to be some disgruntled players on both sides with hit calling and such. I personally had no issues. Just brush it off fellas, re-spawn and get'em next time. Not worth getting upset over.
Nice running with you Hollow. Looking forward to the next game.

Had a great time, lot's of complaints over the hit calling that's for sure! No big deal guys as stated by kurt, brush it off. Don't poison the game for the rest of the crew. Thaddius as always thank you for hosting. Will always support Impulse and yourself! Looking forward to working with you guys!
Also the river was a GREAT asset to ending whatever stalemates there were, granted you weren't afraid to get a little dirty!
Thanks again, Thad I'll keep in touch!

There was a shocking amount of complaining in that phase II thick-brush-battle. Seems like the game is pretty serious in some circles. We had some trouble from the start as I had tried to implement a few new concepts into the game. I think it went fairly well all around, there were definitely SOME complaints coming around but hearing from plenty of other guys that they hadn't had a problem. Hot weather, and the way that it came down so suddenly, certainly didn't help our attitudes out there. It's kind of shocking how fully everything had grown in - comparing today's photos with those from last month is night and day. There are plants now, everything was open then, which contributed a lot to our problems in the first half. A lot of the focus was trying to work the field different ways rather than doin' the old one team here, one team here, these are your objectives and GO. (Didn't really have CO's and such either.) The result was a bit more rec gamey but also kept play fairly concentrated since we had around 30 players come in over the course of the day (which is exactly what I had anticipated!) So, some room for improvement (as always), but I'm glad you guys had fun and it certainly seemed like a good use of the day. Next one is already in the works. Anyway, pictures! And more on our facebook page!

Hello All, Great scenario game based on the book Pacific Vortex, if you haven't read it do as you won't be disappointed. I also liked the use of a new part of the field and actually having a crashed plane added to the realism. As for hit calling issues those happen and its something I don't let bother me. The only issues I encountered was when we had captured the respawn site not knowing it was the respawn site which caused 1 player to instantly respawn. My suggestion would be to have the ref inform the other team that their respawn site was relocated. The other option is to not allow the other team to rdspawn. Anyway I really Enjoyed myself and there was some great play on both sides. Tanks Andy

I had a lot of fun. I personally didn't run into to many issues with hit calling. Its part of the game, if they don't call it keep shooting. Only issue I had is I lost my pistol so if anyone found a KWA H&K USP please let me know. I'd appreciate it back. I was looking for a "Lost n found" section to post to but didn't see one.
