To be honest, I havent read the whole thread, but I wanted to point out : This has happened before in the history of MiA, but wayyyy before most people's time. When we played in the ACO/GK facility in Lyons, one of our objectives was to "break out of prison" with only pistols, fight to our weapons, and then kick ass. It worked quite well, actually... but it was a MUCH smaller community back then, as well. Not to be off topic...but this sounds like a super bad-ass game idea.

The proboards app is messing with me! I swear, when I first posted it was just one, then I edited the post because of some error with the quote; at that point, I noticed it was a double post so I apologized for that, then, the next day I check the thread and see a triple post, and I still can't find a delete button (in the app) and damn this a long run on sentence!

Hahaha, the app does not have a delete button. You will need to use the browser on your phone, go to the web page, then delete it from there.

I wasn't originally trying to derail the thread, but if we're going to discuss the awesome jailbreak idea, than we come back to the problem of having everybody's replica left out in a box somewhere. I don't think everybody will have an individual padlock, so here's my idea: There is a room, designated as the armory, with tables or something that holds all the guns. There will be two trusted people in there who guard all of the guns. When the prisoners break free, they enter the armory (no combat in the room of course) and get their guns back.

It's a possibility, but I think everyone involved would much rather leave them in their cars. If you wish to plan a jailbreak game, I'm in. But please, make your own thread.

When the prisoners break free, they enter the armory (no combat in the room of course) and get their guns back. That could work too. Just have a ref watching over the room. I played a game down in Ohio a year or two back where for funsies we did a Red Dawn Scenario where one side played as the "Wolverines" didn't have any guns and had to egress across the field where the other team playing the Ruskies had all of their guns and had to try and stop the other side from reaching the armory and obtaining their guns and then carry out the rest of their objectives. I think the best part of the scenario was that everyone shouted WOLVERINES as they were running across the field. There weren't any issues with people's guns going missing or anyone stealing anything either.

Snarfdog,I think the armory thing could work... I misunderstood that you were still helping me plan, hence the make your own thread comment. My apologies sir. So basicslly we have a police on freedom fighter scheme:
Popo; all weaponry, a rather small group of people. Wearing Tan and black, etc. Freedom fighters: pistols/sniper rifles, they'll have the advantage of actual camo, green, Marpat, etc.
After lunch, we have a few options: A) rec. game B) Turn it into a HVT game, where the police must now protect the kings/leaders/tyrants from execution. C) Have a bunch of neutral buildings with two stopwatches in each. You want to occupy them, the longer the better. You'd basically stop the opposing teams timer and start your own. D) or the FF would need to destroy a bunch of checkpoints, caches, Etc. The caches would be some type of breakable plastic with water in them, if you drain the water it's gone. Those would be for the long range guys, while checkpoints would contain papers you need to destroy, for the CQB guys. Obviously those would be protected by the Policia, and will take some work to destroy.
Any preferences on the above ideas? Or got some of your own?

Gunny, I like that. How did it go? Well the side playing the "Wolverines" made it across the field and reached the armory before the Russian side with their guns were able to catch them. To even it out they put the Russian side further back so that the players had a bit of a head start.
