I'm pretty sure this is an old topic, however, with everything going on with KWA I'm wondering if the 416 is worth the price tag? I know externally it's top notch, but it seems the internals are "ok" from the videos I've seen.
What are your thoughts MIA?

This is pretty much the same question as this thread: miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=aeg&action=display&thread=4601795% of the people I know who have it love it. Very few have had problems, but with most replicas, there's bound to be a lemon in every bunch. Run it till it breaks then fix it. You still have a replica with excellent externals, and you can upgrade it as you see fit.

I have an older VFC 416 (from before the umarex trades) and I love it. However, I got it just at the externals for $150 and there are no VFC internals whatsoever in it. I can't really speak on the quality of VFC internals from experience, but from what I have seen they are pretty good. The most important thing is that they are 100% TM compatible, meaning that they can easily be fixed if something goes wrong, unlike the KWA which has a few notable quirks. All of the components that I have used in my 416 were a perfect drop in fit.
All in all, I would say it's worth it. You will not be disappointed by the externals, and the internals should last a long time if you run them on a 7.4 Lipo or a 9.6V Nimh battery.

Send a PM to 'Hoggie', he commented about a week ago on his experience with VFC's and and VFC 416's in particular.
