Without having used those specifically myself, the best answer I can give is: It is very unlikely that they're good. but they cost $20. and they are the right size at least. I think I'm the product of two siblings sleeping together.. doy!, I'd just like to be ready to lock and load for my first game. Maybe I'll buy the .20g and see how good they are. gotta be better then any .12g

I would be very wary about the kind of BBs you use. With your current gun, .12 MIGHT not hurt it, but its not worth it to take the chance. When you start off, you always have a budget and you don't want to spend a whole lot, but trust us: You will not regret it. Its understandable that you cant get Pantac, Flyye, Eagle Industries gear, but its a really good idea to drop the extra 5 bucks into decent BBs. If your gun breaks, you are going to have a VERY hard time fixing it, and will be out a lot of money.
On the topic of gear (and pretty much anything airsoft related) go to the Commerce section of the board. A lot of people have used gear thats in great condition that they will sell you at great prices. You can easily pick up a decent vest setup for the same price you would pick up a crappy one from a store.
You should really try to go to that event on the 20th. Even if you are vastly outgunned and get run over, you probably will have a great time. You will see first hand the kind of improvements you need to make, and will have a lot of fun doing it. Pagan (and the others on this board) put on really good events, so you will not be disappointed.
Welcome aboard, and read the stickies! Hope to see you on the 20th.

If you're going to go with a 'Satch, get it here: www.airsoftsmith.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=31_135&products_id=3079AirsoftSmith is located on Columbus OH and will get it to your door in two days. AirsoftGI is located in California and will take a week before they even bother to send it out and then another 4-5 business days to get to you. Plus, AirsoftSmith just offers better customer service and they're much smaller and could use the support.

For the love of all that is holy, please don't get black. Unless you are going to strictly play indoors, black is the worst color choice for gear.

I'd say hold off on any major purchases right now and go to a game. See things for yourself. Ask questions there and ask to test fire some guns and hold some gear. It will save you from making a lot of the basic mistakes you are making right now.

Yeah don't get black. I have only 1 vest at the moment and it's black and I really wish I had gotten it in literally any other color.

Khaki, which is the one cheap color that they do have in stock, blends very well in the woods. There's more light tan out there than a lot of players realize and a khaki vest really matches the natural tones in the Michigan outdoors well. A lot of MiA uses khaki gear.

Dude, you need to relax a little bit. I understand you are excited to get a bunch of gear, but we are telling you to go to a game so that you can see in person everyone's loadouts. Then you can ask them questions about it and get a feel for what you might like before spending your money on what's readily available right now. I know the temptation of instant gratification, but trust us and just go to one game before you drop a bunch of cash.
Yes, you are making that many mistakes, but it's not a big deal.
