Velocity reducers are not allowed. I believe the reason is that they can fail, from what I recall. If you can send a bunch of rounds through it, to try to get it to settle in, go for it. Come chrono time it needs to be below 410 with .20 BBs. My KWA KM4 RIS never reduced from its initial velocity, and was very consistent at 384 FPS. After installing a 6.03 barrel a couple years later, it went up to the 390's. Don't get too disappointed if it doesn't reduce much, or any. As far as a spring goes, I've never had to change one out, since all of my guns have always shot within the velocity that I wanted them to. I may be toying with that in an M249 I recently picked up, but first I need to resolve its feeding issues. I'll leave the spring question for someone with more experience with that subject. There are a couple stores within 45 minutes of No Limits, that would likely have a spring for you, if you need it in a hurry. There is also Crazy Cromags, Amped Airsoft, and Airsoft Smith that are close enough to get your package to you in a couple days, with UPS ground.

Another reason we do not allow velocity reducers is the fact that they are fairly easy to remove. Not saying that you would do it, but if we allow them for one person, we would have to do the same for everyone else, and there is no way to monitor a player 24/7 on the field.

Quick answer, yes. You either need to tune it down (replace spring with a lighter one, cut the spring down some, or maybe make sure it's compressed and left that way until the game, that last one might help some), or you need to rig your gun so it can only fire permanently semi-auto. The 410FPS is a hard limit, no exceptions since it is for safety. Edited to correct typos, sometimes I hate my phone! Tank, the spring will only loose power when it is in the motion of being compressed or decompressing. If it is stagnate in the compressed position it will not lose any more power than it would to leave it uncompressed. The only thing you can do is either shoot off a few hundred rounds or replace the spring.

If anything were to break and needs to be relieved I would believe it to be the gearbox.

Also, if a compressed spring doesn't lose strength, why do airsoft magazines lose their strength for feeding BBs if left loaded for a long time? The quick answer is yes, a cycled spring will lose more strength, but a compressed one will still lose some. Maybe enough on a new spring/gun, doubtful, but maybe. If we buy bbs at the event how many are in a bag .20g are 5k in a bag .25g are 4k and .28g are 3k I believe. Do I need to have my dad fill out the waiver since Im 17? Yes, you can print it off a head of time and bring the signed one with you.

If anything were to go wrong, or shoot across the room, you would likely be sitting on a useless gun come the 20th. You could bring it in to one of the local airsoft stores to have them put it in. I don't know what they charge, you'd have to call them.
