Well it seems like KWA is the only source for great GBBs or atleast from the impression I'm receiving. My ATP is the first and only KWA I've ever owned and broke within a week of use. Bad luck I'm sure, but I wish KWA wasn't the only source available that people praise. So what broke on your KWA, did the outer barrel crack?

Well I tried to describe it in another post I made a while back, but what happens is gas jus empties after a shot or two. I've lubed it, even took it apart last night to find any damaged parts, but nothing to my eyes did I see wrong. Even before, I took it down to our local airsoft tech and even he couldn't figure out what it was. I have 3 mags and have tried every one of them. Results are the same.
I was thinking of buying another ATP, considering I already have extra mags, but damn...

I have the KWA HK45, they supposedly can have the barrel issue as well, so far so good. I do have to say that it shoots better than any other GBB I've shot thus far. You do know that they have a warranty right? If you only had it for a week, you would have been well within that.

I haven't had too great of a history with KWA. My mp7's bolt literally had parts falling out of it, the bolt catch was broken, and as all mp7s (KWA) are notorious for, a swelled hopup bucking. My USP compact has a broken trigger, and the mag release button is loose. I baby my guns too. So if you buy KWA guns, make sure you know if that model has a regular flaw, and buy spare parts.

I was actually hoping they would release an aluminum outer barrel for the HK45, and I would just buy that as a spare. I did that for my MK III PTP when I owned it. Never got around to installing it, before I sold it. Basically sold it because the only pistol I need is my HK. It matches my RS carry.
