It's not that we are trying to segregate our selfs. We are just trying to bring more people our way instead of us having to drive every where else, and I believe a few of us are on this forum.

We try to help one and all. The newest to the most gifted of players. I would ask that all Players stop and remember to respect all their fellow players. We need to come together as a group, to show good sportsmanship.

How long have the majority of your player been playing airsoft at a serious level? What real qualifications do they have to run training classes (have a military handbook is not one of them)? You're being really vague about this kind of stuff and it's not helping anybody take you seriously. We regularly get guys who have been playing for a year or two with a small group of friends in isolation. They have grand plans for where they want to take airsoft without having the slightest idea of how the greater Michigan population plays the game. There are a lot of members here who have been playing airsoft at a very high level for five, six, seven, or more years. For the most part, a lot of us have been there and done that and we've seen these kinds of posts pop up time and time again with very little real substance to them.
So the question is, why should we take you seriously? What sets your group apart? If you haven't come down to any MiA games, how can you know that what you have to offer is what the community needs?

Our Team has been TOAST, Our Team has Been Wolf Pack. We have been on your website on and off since you started. You have members that know and still stop over to Alpena in person. We have been to MIA Games an been resigned for many things. Gun camo Paint jobs, how professional our players are at games. We have been to games all around the State. Our group is not just a bunch of under age guys looking for a good time on a Sunday. We have put allot of Blood , Sweet , and tears into out Team, our field, and our name. I am sorry to say, but your website has gotten quite the reputation itself. An I am sorry to say not in a good way. Many of your members hate getting pounded for asking questions, posting ideas, and looking for Teams and team information. That very reason is why we have started our own forum, so people who are staring have a friendly environment, to ask, and research. I could put money on it that is what this site was meant for when you started it yourself. Why should you take us seriously? We don't need you to take us anywhere. We are doing great, and want to see if other want to have fun with us. Not to be beaten down for asking, and showing who they are and what they have to offer. This is our resume, and our text book. Five of our Players have been in the Military. They have been training all of our players to use these tactics. To be as blunt, We have two ex Army, Three Naval personal. One of our players is an active EMS, and we have Three of us that are CPR, First Aid, and listed with the Red Cross for advanced First Aid. We have five players that have been eating, sleeping, and dreaming the sport of Airsoft for over ten years. Reading and using the following Manuals in Airsoft Combat Tactics since 2003 - 2013. They are as follows, meinkampf Basic First Aid ashley book of knots David DeAngelo - Critical Moments & Bridges How to Tell if Someone is Lying Michael Ruppert - Crossing the Rubicon - Decline of the American Empire at the end of the Age of Oil (20 Sue Grafton - U Is For Undertow about sixty more as such then Field Manual - Marines - FM 12-43 - Mines And Boobytraps improvised_munitions_handbook_v3 Us Armay FM-3 Books To US Armany FM- 31-70 UN Plan Designated Vol 1-34 US Army Course Books For Camouflage US Army Course Books for Combat Survival US Army GTA 05-02-013 - GTA - Through GTA 08-11-011US Army medical course - Wound Care MD0576 US Army Ranger Handbook US Army Special Forces - Caching Techniques US Marine Corps MCRP 3-02B through - US Marine Corps MWTC - Winter Survival Course Handbook US Navy course - Lookout Training Handbook
Then about a 180 others, Our other Airsoft Co owner has also set us up to play at , with Op Lion Claws this summer. We have been trying to get to Operation Irene, as a team for the last Five years. A dream we had ten years ago, when three guys started a team, then ripped it apart, trimmed the fat off and now have a great Team. Ethical Players, who want to make games better then ever. Games that are not just for money, but for the players. The core of the team has been to grow, learn, and play better all the time.

Aside from your painfully judgmental attitude, that's the the post you should have made the first time. Do you see how you explained who you are and what your experience with the hobby is? That's what we need to know. Why it took 20 posts to coax out of you is beyond me.
And yes, I'm aware of our reputation. People who don't like being asked to follow basic rules and would rather post on a board that lets anything go have been bitching and moaning about us for years. If anything, culling the herd improves the content and quality of the games posted here.

Painfully judgmental coming from a verbal attacker, who can not seem to click to a different website to view public information?

Painfully judgmental coming from a verbal attacker, who can not seem to click to a different website to view public information? I have a feeling you're not going to play nice around here. Might be good to just move on.

One of the biggest benefits of MiA is that it's a state-wide resource of games and players. If a game is occurring nearly anywhere in the state it gets posted on MiA, I spot it in the events section and then can work my schedule around to attend. MiA is not a forum dedicated to one team, one field or one region. Rather, it encompasses the entire state and brings together a wealth of information from a diverse player base. If I want to keep up on what's going on throughout the state, it's beneficial to me to have that information centralized instead of scattered across the web in a dozen different team, regional or field related sites. That's one of the main reasons that I push people to hop on MiA and participate in the community here. For Northern Michigan there's already Michigan's Northwestern Airsoft Association (MichNAA, michnaa.proboards.com/index.cgi), Ogemaw County Airsoft Association ( www.facebook.com/ogemawcountyairsoftassociation?fref=ts), and now, the NMA out of Alpena. That isn't even to mention Area 51's website/facebook page or the Asshat team forums. My point is that I'm a lot more likely to pay attention to MiA than to trawl through these other forums looking for games. I think it's great that you're promoting the game in your area, and I look forward to more games at Area 51 or even over the east side closer to Alpena. I just hope in the future that you'll take the time to post your events to this forum so that I can spot them and plan to attend.

*sigh*
Where did I attack you? Quote the text that was attacking you in either of my previous posts, please.
As for following your link to another website to get information, A) I did, there was very little readily available, and B) you're trying to promote your group, which means you're making a pitch. That entails including information about your group that your audience might find useful. I mean, I guess it doesn't have to include that kind of stuff, but it's a pretty shitty pitch without it. I mean, are you going to run out to the store based on a commercial that says, "buy my product!" but doesn't say or show what that product is? Because the entire business of marketing suggests that you wouldn't.

This verbal debate, is fine an all, but you seem to miss the point. Who asked the questions, three posts ago, (sorry not twenty) and you may have forgotten you were asked to go to our site to answer all you questions. I have many other things i am trying to get done today. I do not have the time to list out all the answers to question that are listed in order at our website. So if it would be ok with you I would like to end our verbal mud slinging. Would it be ok with you? We came to MIA with the sole purpose to let those in the upper area of lower Michigan, we were here. Maybe new name, but same people, same plan to come together with like minded Airsoft persons.

It's more that we have all been here before and we have seen how you guys treat younger players with lower end guns, like JGs cyber guns and what not and we honestly dont like it but we figured if we would come here and try to get some of the younger players and other players that dont like the way you guys treat people and give them a place to post and not get judged, and be able to come play and have a good time.

Was not promoting any group, was not selling anything. If you look back I answered a question, from a different person. That was all, then this wonderful conversation started. A normal conversation starts with, some type of pleasant exchange. Not things as ... why should we take you seriously? If you haven't come down to any MiA games, how can you know that what you have to offer is what the community We wanted to let people know we were here, if that is not nice well I am sorry
