REC: Hell Survivors 03/02/13

Open play airsoft at Hell Survivors Paintball

There is a 20 player minimum, so I am posting early to ensure enough time for registration. We had 60 players at the first event, and only expect more as the weather gets warmer.


It is important to note, that this will be the LAST open play game at Hell Survivors without paintballers until Novemeber. So use this chance to come out and have the entire field just for airsoft.

Time: 10:00-Dusk Gates will open at 9:00am.

Cost: $20.00
FPS: MIA standards.
Eye Protection: Full seal goggles are required. NO GOGGLES, NO SHOOTING, NO EXCEPTIONS. Mesh goggles are not allowed.
You must sign a waiver. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must sign the waiver as well. Waivers will be provided.

Briefing/ Check in/ Chrono : 9:00 AM
Trigger Time starting at: 10:00AM
Break for Lunch: Whenever people feel up for it.
Ending: 5:00 PM

There will be no ammo restrictions, or player caps as it is a rec game.

Hell Survivor Rules:
Barrel condoms are required in the safe zone. These are available at most sporting goods stores or you can make your own as long as it works. This does NOT include socks, gloves or hats wrapped around the end of the barrel.

Magazines out and safeties on in the safe zone.
Anyone between 12-14 years old must come with an adult.

Full face masks, balaclavas, lower half mesh face protection or something along those lines are required.
Players under 18 must wear FULL FACE covering. Paintball masks, or mesh/iron face lowers with goggles are acceptable. Players under 18 may NOT wear cloth coverings

How much will the field be restricted when the paintballers come to play?
Also how much of the field actually gets used at the rec games?

The entire field is 182 acres. So to try and use the entire field for a rec game is pretty pointless.

I'm not 100% sure how much of the field is going to be used by paintballers. From what was told to me by the field manager at the last event, their games only last 20-30 min, then they rotate to a new section of the field. What you need to keep in mind is that in April when they open for paintball ( their first open day is the same day as a scheduled open play for airsoft) They are expecting 200+ paintballers. So they more than likely will have 4-5 of the area going at once.

Planning on making this game with a few friends, one of which used to play paintball there all the time, should be great!

Depending on the weather I might be able to make it out. I'm not sure though.

03/06/13 is a Wednesday. So you might want to fix that if hell's survivors hosts games on the first Saturday.
