I'm in the helmet market and I cant seem to find a definitive answer to who wears what helmet. Now I know that multiple units wear multiple helmets, I am just asking in general. I know about MICH's, this question is more directionalised to the Ops-Core style. Fast Balistic, Base Jump, Fast Bump? Who wears those? Im not going for an impression, I just style my gear as a compilation of all SF to my own way that works.

Mother of God, Knief. That was an awesome post.
+1 to you, sir.
I've heard that 75th Ranger Regiment is slowly starting to use Ops-Core helmets.

Im not going for an impression, I just style my gear as a compilation of all SF to my own way that works. If you're not going for an impression then why don't you just get whatever you think looks cool? If you are looking for what works I can say that a pro-tec skate helmet works great. I just painted mine olive drab, mounted a Hero mount and put some adhesive velcro for flags. Good to go. There's a helmet thread in the gallery where you can find some pretty sweet work other people have done. Mine may not look as cool as those, but it works for me. Here's the thread miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gallery&action=display&thread=40011&page=1

FYI Knief that first one you posted is actually a mich 2001 with ARC rails, and a bunch of the other ones are actually ops core fast maritimes which there are not yet replicas of, nor are the real ones available to the civilian market. In general pretty much every USSOF unit has used or is currently using the standard ops core ballistic FAST, but the maritime seems to be more and more common lately. Delta/CAG/ACE is using the Airframe, and DEVGRU is using the maritime ballistic. Obviously though these guys have a lot of latitude in what gear they use, so none of those are set in stone. Before ops core and crye helmets had become so commone, MARSOC, Rangers, and army SOF mainly used Mich 2000s. AFSOC and NSW dudes seemed to pop up with ops cores before most of the others, and prior to that NSW wore the mich 2001 mainly, and before that the 2000.
All of this is mainly a question of time period. What I posted above are mainly generalizations, but nearly all, if not all of the helmets I posted above have been used by every unit I listed at some point.
Edit; also, with respect to bump/nonballistic helmets, I would say skip it. They are often seen in training missions since you don't have to worry about damaging the ballistic properties in water, etc, plus they are cheaper.
Also, more important to making a helmet look cool is not the helmet itself but what goes on it. For instance a rhino arm doesn't look right on an airframe or ops core IMO because the guys using those helmets don't used pvs 14s.

Like I said, "I'm shit at IDing helmets." What are the differences between the FAST and the FAST Maritime?
