Are there any rails which, instead of having only rail space up, down, left, and right, have it up, down, left, right, upper left, upper right, lower left, lower right? At an angle. Just something that piqued my curiosity.
Completely unrelated - Are there any rail attached bayonets that can kind of spring out like some older russian bayonets? Seems like a nifty idea to have 4 of these...

A VLTOR CASV can do much of what you're asking about.

MOE grips have slots to attach rails from a bottom corner direction.
I'm not sure on the legality of spring-assisted blades...

Spring assist knives are legal in Michigan but don't even think about mounting it to your airsoft gun.

Please, for the love of god, don't put real knives on your airsoft gun. If we're talking about some fake rubber ones then fine, but expect to get laughed at profusely.

Was talking about rubber ones... Alright, basically. Is it possible to do this: www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=36551Except not as large, and using it only on the rail system. Think like an octogon with rails on every side. Seems like a fun idea to have a bunch of stuff everywhere.

I'm fairly certain you can't mount them vertically adjacent to each other though, you would have to offset one rail forward of the other if your putting them at every angle. If that makes sense. You would have to have a very large diameter rail to take advantage of all 8 positions in a vertically adjacent arrangement. This picture illustrates what I'm trying to say about it being unusable unless it's diameter was very large. <- I'm sure someone will quote that sentence somewhere else now. Also the link for that rail is this www.opticsplanet.com/advanced-technology-ar-15-carbine-free-float-forend-long-rail-package-with-four-6in-a.html if it's something your curious about.
