Just saw this on my news feed: John Lu Working on 2013 OLCMSS event schedule, moving Red Storm East from Apr. to Aug./Sept. so we can have NL in Apr. in order to use the Two-Story Shopping Mall before it's sold....(interior intact no less).
LC-XII AO secured, one-square-mile of houses....now we know we can take in 1,000 combatants at that AO....more to come... Damn, it was followed by this: John Lu LS maybe in WI at a two-story shopping mall (I think I mistyped LS vs NL). LS in WI, NL in MI. John Lu 2013 Calendar should be up by the end of the week or so on lc website

John wrote that NL was in Wisconsin at a mall, but the corrected it himself that lightning strike is the event in Wisconsin at a mall. NL is still in Michigan.

Did anyone run the last NL with a GBBR, If so how'd it go? (Basically asking if it is at all possible to do).

If it definitely in Michigan again, I will make it a point to keep my schedule free for that weekend. I feel like NL3 was just practice, for NL4 we now know what works and what doesn't.

Let's see, well it would have been nice if our platoon leader actually responded to his radio. So maybe make a rule that a platoon leader can not be that involved in fighting, if they can't multitask? Also, we make our own rules for how we divvy up the channels allotted to our platoons. Sunday went much better with coms, in my opinion, because most of MiA were all on the same channel. It was the only time that I witnessed decent communication the whole weekend.
Also we need to make sure everyone has ROG, Call, and any other annoying sounds turned off, as well as vox, and that all sub channels are set to 0.
We need to have a thread dedicated to radio preparedness. In this thread there should be help for people that don't know how to set their radio, as well as a list of people that have indicated their radios are compliant. It's almost better to not have a radio, then to have any of that crap enabled.

It's getting harder and harder to rely on LC for updates. Now the website is back to the second weekend in May for NL4.
