Did the hostages really get tied up with plastic cuffs? Haha yes. I was the one on the stretcher but the other two guys got zip tied behind their backs.

Everyone,
I just received this email, and honestly I couldn't be more disgusted.
Jeremy Please keep in mind that this has nothing to do with you or the the event you run we love having you out there and the players are awesome with two exceptions. we had a problem last night after you left. the two guys that came late, one is tall and the other is much shorter ( short guy wore a green tee shirt and tall guy is always in black )they stayed over by the air-ball field and had a tan and brown tent. These are the same two who second to last time my husband had to yell at all day about goggles and barrel bag and the tall guy would look right at him and just keep walking, I also believe these are the same two who shot in the parking lot and hit some cars. Everyone was gone by 6 safety area was clean spools and tables where in place and ready to go home, but they still had tent up and running around being stupid. When i asked them to pack up because we wanted to lock up they moved very slowly as if to show us. As they packed they lifted up the netting that's laying on the ground and threw all they trash under it and there was a lot. they drove an older jeep limited with 4 doors and hatch and were so far away from our poles that the hatch was up as they loaded tables, tent, and gear. Now when they left he put the jeep in reverse and backed over a 4x6 18ft pole that was cemented in the ground. we ran to catch him and got his license number and he stopped and said he didn't know it was there. I asked why he put jeep in reverse at all you were backed in and leaving in drive!!! we got a sorry from him but now unable to hold events and hang netting on that field till we repair it. So my husband made it clear to the two of them that until they come out with a 4x6 18ft pole they are not to return. with them in another car was a young black guy with a good size space between his front teeth am not sure if he ever been there before. I hope your not upset with the way we handled it but he backed up about 10 ft to hit it and it was no accident But again you run a great event and none of what they did reflects on you at all, i have a great deal of respect for the way you handle yourself deb
Wow.
I'm pretty sure I know who these people were, and as far as I'm concerned, they won't ever play another event host by us again, even if they do man up and make right by the owners.
If you happened to know a name of either one of the guys mentioned in the email, please pm me, so I can get in touch with the field owners.
I personally offered to go to the field and help with what ever repairs they need to make.
We are lucky that the owners like us, because just about any other business owner would be through with allowing airsoft events if the players acted this way.

Pagan,
If you find out who they are, PM me. They're not coming to any Hellfish events either.

That really is a shame. I know they probably won't make right with the facility, so lets just hope they never come back.
Also, a 4x6x18pt post is special order from Lowes / HD, and often times oversized lumber has minimum quantities that have to be ordered.

MIA has a blacklist right?
That kind of BS that has no place in any human discourse. While it seems like the owners recognize that it's an isolated incident contained to two assholes, it still still reflects badly on everyone.

Knief,
I am trying to get names, as I know exactly who they are, and I even know what the use on the field.
It's funny that she mentioned something about the incident with cars getting shot, I never mentioned to her who I suspected of doing it.

This pretty much makes me sick that a few douche-nozzles would try to ruin things like this. Jeremy, let me know if they need help to repair anything, I will try to find time to help.

I am also willing to try to help with repairs. Is it feasible for the MiA community to pool some cash and buy a new pole for them? What would one cost? How do we go about buying one?
Edit: Looks like a 16' one is $31 from Home Depot.

From what I've heard it can be orded at lowes/home depot and runs about $60-70.

I've been moving 14 foot base board and base shoe all week in an Accord. Surely somebody with fold down seats can drive one 16 foot beam it the three miles from the Home Depot on Eureka to the field.
Also, this thing is going in the ground, so if we do buy it, it needs to be treated.

Had a great time today. There was only one instance where I heard hit calling was an issue, but other than that it all seemed to be honest. I think I got friendly-fired one time, but it wasn't a big deal. It was great to get out and see some new faces as well as familiar (couldn't think of another way to word it...). I can't really pick a favorite game, there were lots of good ones. And props to the dude who perfectly ambushed us and killed the hostage during the hostage evac game. You are welcome I had loads of fun. Brought a friend along for the ride and he had a blast as well. I did not ref Sunday but thanks to the guys that did, you ran some fantastic games. Sad to see this crap above but besides that it was a great day for airsoft.

Also, this thing is going in the ground, so if we do buy it, it needs to be treated. Only problem is Deb said they were 18 foot, which would be a special order item. Most home depot and lowes stores don't carry anything longer than 12 foot in 4x6 and 6x6. May be able to get a 16 foot 4x4, but 4x6 will be special order. Mans Lumber in downtown Trenton may have longer 4x6's. To install it, you will need at least 3 bags of cement and a lot of work with a post hole digger.
