I was thinking maybe planning out future purchases, and a helmet was one of them. Not looking for a specific brand, but more of a style. The one with holes in the top (Very specific, no? XD) seems pretty cool, although I don't think they have rails. For some reason, the few things I do want are: Side Rails, The ability to put on a mount thing (For like, a GoPro), and maybe helmet covers.
Any suggestions chaps?

OpsCore Basejump
Has 'holes in the top', 'Side Rails', ability for 'mount thing', and FirstSpear/OpsCore helmet covers will fit.

And it's cheaper than the Ops Core Ballistic and Carbon.

If you want the same look as what CQBR suggested, but with much less cost, you could go with the Fast, or High Speed, or whatever they are calling it now on Evike. I own one of these, and highly recommend it. It obviously won't offer the same impact ratings as the real thing, but when it comes to minor bumping your head into things, your covered. It also will let you attach whatever onto it, like the OpsCore. There are two different types that you need to pay attention to. One is like the opscore bump, the other is like the carbon. I may be incorrect in my terminology, because I'm on my phone right now, which won't navigate the ops-core site correctly. Basically, one of them has the NVG shroud built in, the other you have to buy the shroud separately and install it. I bought the one with the shroud built in. This helmet is very light weight, but will certainly get a bit heavier when you add all your attachments. I personally have a light and GoPro on mine all the time. I ran that setup through all of Northern Light, very comfortably. The handy thing about the rails is the obvious, when I'm not playing in a dark environment I can quickly disconnect the light.

Anyone know of a retailer that carries the gray version of these?
I'm interested in one, but I want one that I will be able to wear with either tan or green based loadouts. At NL, they wouldn't (understandably) allow green players to wear tan helmets, so I need a color that isn't black, tan or green.
edit: Maybe it's the "FG" (Foliage Green?) ones that I'm seeing that look gray in color...

They've got to be kidding with the $70 helmet cover. I mean, I know First Spear is all "operator-operator," but, come on!

The retailer is located in Singapore, but they've got free shipping. Browse around their helmet section right here: www.airsoftpark.com/index.php?cPath=29_40_143They've even got a red helmet if you feel like doing something really different.
