They're generic ACM goggles, which chances are aren't ANSI rated. You can get some used ESS NVG goggles for cheap, as well as BOLLE X800s and X1000s.

They are not "eyes" they are goggles.

"Eyes" is the general term for eye protection in the shooter world, as is "ears" for hearing protection. It's not uncommon to go to a range and have an RO ask if you have eyes and ears or if you need any. *edit* Can't believe I missed that.

I'm not trying to be a smartass, but I think you meant that "eyes" is the general term for eye protection, probably not hearing protection. But other than that, pretty much spot on, even though I think it's more range-lingo than airsoft/milsim/tacticoolshenanigans-lingo.

Yes, I know, I shoot real steel but prefer to keep the terms distinct for specificity, and to avoid the cool-guyisms resulting in that off-topic thread.

Bottom line: do you trust a $9 product to protect your eyes? Pay some extra money and get something that is actually ANSI rated.
RE: "Eyes," "cans," ears," "lids," "go fasters," etc.
Just stop. Call things by their normal names (i.e. goggles, helmet, suppressor, shoes/boots). I've never heard anyone call goggles "eyes." "Eye-Pro," yes, "eyes," no.
In addition, on a forum it's necessary to maintain some level of clarity, so it's never a bad idea to avoid unnecessary acronyms, slang, etc.

1 - Please use specific thread topics. The topic of your thread should let the reader know what the thread is about. Mods have full authority to re-title threads, but we would rather you took care of this yourself. Not going to give you a warning but do better from now on.

Oh thank you Mr. Zorak, for the clarification, I just noticed them online and wanted to know if they were a good idea to buy. From what I have seen I should of ' stated' my question better. I just did not want to make a fast uninformed purchase.

Actually, a more descriptive summary (the subject title for this thread) is what is needed. When looking through the various thread names, you wouldn't know what your about to start reading about, just based on the title of the thread.
