A typical vest on average I would say, can carry 6 to 8 mags. So a person carrying 8 160 round midcaps has 1280 rounds, not including the mag that is probably already loaded in the gun, or a sidearm. Your spraying way too much if you need to borrow mags/ammo midway through a game. Another thing to think about, the other team only needs to eliminate you to effectively screw over your squad if they are all relying on you for rounds. I don't totally agree with this. I carry 9 mags with 90 rounds each and I had to reload several times in the field at NL3. Having a pouch with a speed loader and some bbs sure beats walking a mile back to the spawn. Of course, this depends on the size of the AO and the rules regarding loose bbs. I do agree though that you're not going to like being a mule and it's generally unnecessary. NL3 doesn't really count. That's a whole different story.

OK then try walking across the hell's survivors AO. I'd rather carry it on me then leave it at spawn.

If you're going to run an MPS, I would probably go for the J-Tech(?), King Arms (They make one right?), or Pantac ones. For one, they all have the same type of mag pouches. I think the KA and Pantac ones can hold plates, and the J-Tech one has 2 dump/general pouches. Another option would be the Condor Modular Chest Rig (I use this), but the mags can be a pain in the ass to get out sometimes, even with magpuls.
If you want to run light and still have mole, I would recommend an RRV.

I want a vest under $200. If somebody could help me with that, I would appretiate it. Where is a good place to get a decent vest?
