So I've owned a Echo1 Stag-15 for awhile. Not exactly happy with the performance so I've been thinking about selling it, buying an extended TBB (Madbull 407mm 6.03) same one I have in my Echo1. I've been hearing mixed responses on if I should keep my M4 or switch to a G&G. People have been telling me they can be a hit or miss, (although, G&G is known for making damn good guns) and I'm not sure what to believe, or if its even worth switching over to.
Somethings that I am concerned about if I switch over to G&G
JG mag compatibly: I have 7 JG 300 round high caps and am worried that they won't feed as well into a G&G as well as an Echo1 would and I don't feel like shelling out more money for Mags. Also will my Drum Mag work with this gun?
Barrel/RIS Wobble: One of my major complaints with my Echo1, the RIS won't clip in and will just spin. I know with G&G this won't be a problem since the RIS Is attached to the upper receiver, I'm concerned on how that's is going to effect switching out barrels, if it will at all.
Terminal Range: Most G&Gs are around 350 FPS. Most Echo1s Chrono around 390-400. How is the low FPS going to effect Terminal range.
Hop-Up: How are G&G Hop-Ups compared to Echo1 Hop-Ups?
Range: Stock Range on both are about 150ft, with my extened TBB barrel I can make shots accurately out to 200ft, inarticulately out to about 250ft. How is the reduced FPS and Terminal Range going to effect this.
BB Weight: Do to variables such as lower FPS and the hop up what BB weight should I use? Will my Matrix .25s be too heavy now?
Reliability: How will the internals hold up compared to the Echo1? How much abuse can the gun take before something breaks.
ROF: How does ROF with a 9.6v1600mah battery hold up to the ROF on the Echo1 running the same battery?
Crane Stock VS Full Stock: How will the Crane Stock hold up to the full stock. Will It break easier? How is the quality compared to the full stock on a Echo1?
These are all questions I need answers to before I make my purchase.
