If they're ANSI rated, then they provide eye protection, pretty good face protection, can have a wider view than goggles, and filter out the smell of sweaty guys. They're not that bad, really, some do look pretty cool, like that one, however it needs a filter on it. British S10's are awesome, I want to get one, but their sizing baffles me.

Not to be rude or mean, but why people even wear gas masks to games is completely beyond me. I mean, really? Alrighty then. The rest looks good though. It was just for fun. Something to make the picture look cooler.

I've shot the mask point plank with my 510fps sniper and it survived, I don't think it can be issued an ANSI rating due to the fact that it's rubberized and not solid carbonate polymer. Due to this fact, I wear a pair of safety glasses underneath. The gas mask I use does not impede my vision one bit, compared to other models. I plan on buying proper full seal goggles before attending any match hosted on MIA. Also I do have several paintball masks laying around just incase. Gas masks pick up chicks easy.

In case you have forgotten, airsoft is 50%+ fashion show. @gorgoth There's a gas mask at PT North that nobody has claimed for about a month now that is ANSI approved. I'll check to see what type it is, but it's pretty hawt.

Gas masks are too unpractical for me to use, that is why once I get my goggles in the mail, I most likely will not touch my gas mask when going to airsoft games.

I've tried a couple on and yeah... I prefer to breath. Nothing like good old unimpeded air.

How easy is it to breath through a nylon balaclava?

How easy is it to breath through a nylon balaclava? Your going to need full face protection to play at most games so I wouldn't recommend getting a balaclava just yet. I'd pick up one of those mesh face masks.

Looks very cool, but the wires to/from the PEQ are ugly as sin. I think it'd look neat if you e-taped the battery wires to sort of hide them, and put a junk pressure pad on the grip and lead it's wire "into" the battery wires, just to make it look more realistic, like it has more purpose than holding the battery, even if it doesn't.

Not a huge fan of the optic or outer barrel, other than that it looks pretty good.

I think the outer barrel is stock for PDW's. But yeah the optics is killing that beautiful gun. Try using a Reflex Sight or maybe a Docter Sight.
