Let's start compiling locations and contact information here. John and OLCMSS can definitely open a lot of otherwise closed doors, and I will pass the information onto him. The first five sites I emailed: - Summit Place Mall - contact info foundwww.farbman.com/Properties/Summit%20Place%20Mall%20Flyer_email.pdf- Michigan Central Station - Riverside Osteophatic Hospital - Northville Regional Psychiatric Hospital - Eloise Psychiatric Hospital

There's also the Packard plant although it's a whole lot more dangerous than the steel mill because the floors have been known to collapse randomly.
I wonder if Detroit would let them rent out Belle Isle.

Does anyone here know whats going on with the Howell HS Parker campus building? I know they filmed that High School movie there a while back but I think its just sitting there now.

Fisher Body 21? Can't find any contact information but does look like a decent site. Looks like there are a few surrounding structures. Picture for reference.

Lets shoot up Mackinaw Island! Or does this have to be hosted in Detroit?

Player turnout would probably be drastically reduced, being that far north.

If we had an entire island, I'm sure no one would mind.

We need too keep this thread serious. I know it's hard to resist, being that I love to laugh it up most of the time. Suggesting places that in no way are a possibility, is just counter productive. They don't even allow vehicles on that island, why would you think that they would be fine with us slinging plastic there? Not to mention all the destruction that would occur.
The only places, suitable to mention, have to fall into the abandoned / scheduled to be torn down category. Places that if we bust stuff up, no one will care. I witnessed plenty of destruction, and also captured some on video, this past weekend. There is no way you will prevent this from happening.

So basically, no historical places.

Michigan Central Station is being renovated, or at least was a year ago when my friends' company was working on demoing the interior.

Look around downtown flint, it seems like I drive by an abundance of abandoned buildings.

Yeah it still appears that the Michigan Central Station has activity going on. I was there less than a month ago just outside of it taking some engagement pictures with my fiance and there was a crew on the grounds. So I'm guessing that's out of the picture.

Consider the following when you pick a place: - Size - has to be able to accommodate a large number of players. - Historical value - I think it would be a plus, particularly since most places are due to be razed. - Crime in surrounding area - this eliminates most of Flint, Detroit, Pontiac, and Saginaw. - Level of decay/instability - if the floors are on the verge of collapse, it's probably not a good idea to play in that location.

While doing a little research into the matter, I found this site: detroiturbex.com/content/schools/index.htmlIt appears some of these schools would be too unsafe and they may have already all been torn down. I haven't researched them all yet. I do know there are a few closed schools in the area that are still standing so I will try to locate them and get some more information.

I think opening a normal field at one of those hospitals mentioned in the OP would be really cool.
