Also, playing with a lot of out-of-state players made me realize how lucky we are in Michigan regarding our player base. How do you figure? Also, you shoulda found me and sugg. He had to shit, so we found a toilet in the middle of nowhere near tower 15.

Went home, crashed for a few hours and now I am hurting everywhere. Best money I've spent on airsoft. Couldn't have asked for a better group of guys to go with either.

For a proper AAR, I had some qualms in regards to organization and communications, but, in retrospect, I could attribute those issues to what I was actually doing out in the field - switching from squad to squad on the basis of proximity. With that out of the way, it's much easier to attribute good memories to the people I ran with throughout both days; from covering Sugg's ass while he took a dump on a toilet (Which I found, Ryan ), to gunning out of the back of the Polaris, to a hastily set-up ambush (which failed), and making a bunker out of what looked to be salt storage (which also failed), to assaulting the airfield with Kenny Thomas for all of five minutes (that failed too, of course), to dying in a pitch black portion of the mill while Ryan used my corpse as much as a distraction as cover, to dying on catwalks of dubious strength with guys from 6mm Militia out of Ohio, to going out in a blaze (well, okay more like parlay) of glory cornered in a room with no escape towards the end of the day. All in all, I had a great time. Now if only those Tan guys would have been about 10 feet closer at all times, maybe the Somali Special would have caught them... ah well.

Thanks for that Rel.. Serious thanks to combat junkies photo guy there for those great shots of me. I rarely end up on camera, let alone good pics. Fun game, rad AO, cool people. But if I heard hooha one more time .. Words of advice, if you have a call button on your radio.. Cut it off with an exacto knife.. Don't know who that was.. Hopefully not one of us but damn.. I digress, good hussle dudes.

Holy hell, what a game.
That was simultaneously the most incredible and deadly AO, and it made for some really special gameplay. On the drive home I was musing that I would have liked to have seen more objectives thrown at us, but with more objectives the game would become cumbersome. The action was fluid and never boring.
I can only echo everyone else's comments about our community. You guys are what make airsoft great.
Also, rolling with freakin' Keni Thomas?!?! AWESOME!!!

Those who didn't stick around for a night game missed out on some hot MIA civil war action. God yes they did. "And not a single slave was freed that day." -Colonol J.D. Pascany

Can't wait to sift through my videos tomorrow. Loved hearing tan guys complain after getting killed by the guy in the pink shirt.

Good stuff guys. Really had a fun time. I heard more than one mod and Greg Brothers himself comment on how honest the players were being, some of the best they have ever seen at a large event. I think we were professional and showed that Michigan airsoft has the right attitude.
Not sure which side got the "victory" and this may be the first time I don't really care. Great AO, great people and attitudes, and a great time. Money well spent.

Also, rolling with freakin' Keni Thomas?!?! AWESOME!!! Yeah I wasn't impressed with that guy. I'm sure he's done a lot for our country, but I can't say he had the right attitude at this game.

This was literally the BEST time I have ever had, in airsoft and my life in general. Everyone from MiA that was there, love you fuckers, you guys made my time there worth every second. I think we all showed John Lu and Greg Bros. just how honest, honorable, and awesome Michigan and all of it's airsofters are and hopefully it will give them great incentive to come back to MI in the near future.
This AO was simply awe-inspiring. I actually felt as if I were throw into a post-apocalyptic war movie. From sprinting from our spawn all the way through the scrap yard to theirs while encountering multiple tan tangos along the way, to climbing cat-walks and finding sniper spots in the deepest, darkest areas of the main buildings, it was mind-blowing.
I'm extremely disappointed in the fact that I forgot to bring my GoPro for Senario IV on day 2 (I had so many epic battles and ambushes that day) but I will try to edit my footage from day 1 and get it up as soon as I can.

After OneManArmy, TheActionMan, Tank, Knief, GunsMcBen, Ghast, ARC, X (Thanks for that beer! ), Chaseman, Yankee, and myself left the Round House BBQ after having a meal and drinks right after the end of the game as I was driving past the AO heading home I was actually sad that the game was over because I had such a memorable time with everyone over the weekend and really didn't want the weekend to end because of how much fun I had. In the end the event fee ended up being well worth the price for all the fun and memories that I will have from attending this event. Now we all just need to get together and try and attend IRENE!

I can only mirror what everyone else has been saying. I'll also add that, I feel like I need a wheelchair, or better yet a hover round.

That picture is pure win. Is there somewhere I can find the pictures that John Lu took?
