He kept taking his mask off during game play on the castle and I told him twice that he needs to keep them on and he replyed "I know" and just kept walking on with out eye protection. Kjones, please grab one of the refs next time. I can guarantee that it won't continue to happen. If I was to give some constructive criticism that would be to try to start the games on time, post said game play started at 9:45 I know we were still standing around at 10:30. If people are not ready then leave them. I want to apologize for this. There was a bunch of little things that contributed to the delay, but I should have had some of the other refs get things started on time. Sorry about that one guys. Pagan, I see you acquired a green helmet. Yeah, I actually acquired a black helmet, but it was quickly painted. ;D Pagan upon receiving said helmet: "I'm going to get shot in the head as soon as I put this damn thing on." First hit of the next game following said statement....head shot. *Laughs* And the second shot I took was in the helmet too. I don't know if I cursed myself by making the comment that every time I wear a helmet I get shot in the head, or my head just becomes that much larger of a target.

As always it was a great game over at No Limits! I got too meet some more new people, and got a shit ton of pictures!
The only problem was a few idiots who kept taking their goggles off and were being told to put them back on and didn't. The worst was when we were coming back and the people who were working were yelling for one person to put his back on and still didn't.
Had a great time as usual and cannot wait until the next!

This was my second No Limits game, both very solid and well put together. Great work Pagan and the rest of the Suicide King guys for putting on the events, very welcoming. My biggest gripe about the day was the attitude of some of the players. I agree to this though, there was one or two guys on the civi/tan side with us that weren't very geared up that had major attitude problems and every time they got hit they were almost threatening to fight or had very harsh comments to whom they got shot by, but other than that the hit calling wasn't really a problem and all the games ran smooth. VIP, CTF were my favorite rounds of the day.

So that was my second No Limits game and I did have quite a bit of fun playing. I personally did not like the reverse 300 all that much but the rest of the games were very good. Had a great time cannot wait until I get an opportunity to go to another event.

I was not a fan of that guy trying to snipe with the CO2 revolver. I almost took some close friendly fire from it, which would not have felt so good.
Besides for my car getting shot and the few guys lighting off rounds in the safe area, I had a great time.
Its a shame my gun ran out of battery, I wanted to get in one or two more games.

I forgot to add that the reverse 300 was just a blast and I liked how on one side it got more challenging as time went on and the other side got easier, very nice game type! And as always the capture the flag to the ref was a great game also.

Wow, did people lose their minds at this event? I've never been to an event where people refused to put their eye pro back on, and keep it on, and people slinging rounds in the safe zone. WTF! Not to mention shooting someone's car. A man's car is a sacred thing! If I caught someone intentionally shooting mine you'd have to call the police to keep me from beating them within an inch of their life.
I'm starting to be happy that I couldn't make this event.

I only know of two eye pro issues were that were brought to our attention, and sadly I have a feeling the majority of the offenses that have been mentioned were all from the same people.
I won't have a problem remembering them, and won't hesitate to give them the boot quiet quickly if they try and pull those stunts again.

I have to agree Tank, the disregard for safety is a concern. I also was not at this event, but have made it to just about every other game there. My concern is that an employee of No Limits reading this AAR. At the very least they will start having their refs tagging along with us, at the worst they may not allow us back in there. Of course this does not reflect on SK, Hellfish or anyone else running games. It is up to each individual to police them self and listen to someone who points out a safety violation. If you can't do that, then you are not ready for this sport.
No Limits is the only outdoor field currently in operation in SE MI. We cannot afford to lose it. Shape up guys!

As much as I would like to think refs/host can catch most infractions, it's just not 100% possible. We can address the things we see directly or are informed of, but if neither of those circumstances exist, we can only expect people to do their best to act properly.
I believe the main issues the game suffered from were a group of players who are used to playing private games, and doing pretty much what ever they want. That's not how organized events work.
I openly ask players at any of our games, please get the attention of myself or any ref near by and let us know about something that isn't right. We can only fix the issues we know about, and will gladly take the opportunity to ensure the safe and continued play of the other event attendants.
I appreciate the feedback in these AARs, it lets us know as event host what we need to be on the look out for, but as all of you know, unless we have a 1 to 1 ratio of refs and players, there is no way in hell we can catch every single thing.

Tank, it's not like people were constantly going nuts in the safe zone. Yeah, there were a couple negative things and dick moves, but it was a great day of airsoft.
I heard a couple people complaining about hit calling, but I really didn't see many issues. Everyone I KNEW I hit called it.
Once the games started, the Suicide Kings kept the pace lively, and all of the games were fun. I had a great time, and I'm still pretty sore today. Good game, everyone.

I'm sure that it wasn't constant, I know Pagan and his posse would kick them out if it was. It only takes one string of ill placed shots in the safe zone to injure someone though. The whole eye pro thing though is disturbing. It doesn't take much of that before the owners will be following us around, at best. Once someone has to be told twice to replace eye pro, they should be booted, especially if they just ignore the warning. I was kind of speaking in jest, by saying I'm glad I didn't show up. Any day I miss a game of airsoft is always a bummer. I do have to say that I do take safety serious though, so I really don't enjoy playing around people that jeopardize that.

This was my first game back in about 2 years of not playing. It was awesome, I couldn't of asked for a better time. Pagen and the rest of the SK crew did a great job and the put people in line when they caught them doing something they weren't suppose to be doing.
Overall a great time, I can't wait until the next Rec game.

Overall a great time, I can't wait until the next Rec game. July 14th, 2 weeks after OP:NL3, just enough time to rest up from 2 days of mind-blowing awesomeness for me

I am a huge stickler for eye protection (I have a paintball background, and we take it SUPER seriously), and if it had been brought to the ref's attention it would not have flown. He kept taking his mask off during game play on the castle and I told him twice that he needs to keep them on and he replyed "I know" and just kept walking on with out eye protection.
