I was wondering if anyone has found a good headset to use during play. I just purchased the one below and havent used it yet during a match but it seems pretty good. Mainly im just concerned about comfort and having the ability to still hear through the ear that has the set in it. The one below has a hollow tube in it so I think it shouldnt affect hearing through that ear as much as some headsets but we will see this weekend. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CNAEEW/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00

Just make sure to get the vented type, like crapshoot posted. The sealed ones would cut off peripheral hearing from that one ear. Tomorrow, I'll post which ones I bought. I bought pay of it from airsoftGI, and the other part from Evike, I believe. Basically the same as crspshoot's. I have used them twice so far, one of those times was in rain the whole time. They work awesome for both transmit and receive, are comfortable even in heat, and you can hear everything around you without anyone near you hearing the speaker when you are receiving.

Have your orderd from this site before? I have seen this site and the prices look good, but wasn't sure how bad the shipping would be.

I have before. I don't remember exactly how long shipping took, but it must not have been that bad. Otherwise, I would remember.

That is where I got them. The shipping was $25 or so for 3-5 day shipping, and like $10 for 10-20 day shipping.

I like the concept of that headset but it seems so huge and the straps on the head im not sure about. I am using a lower mesh mask and goggles so that is already three straps then that headset adds two more straps. That seems like a lot of straps on my head I have nothing else to say. Plus my lower mesh mask has ear protection also so it would have to go underneath that.

You could always use an in-ear set up with a throat mic.

I like the look of that headset Crapshoot! The only problem is eHobbyAsia is charging me $47 for 10-20 day shipping...almost the price of my entire order! But the headset I was looking at before was this one: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00000JCT8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DERI honestly might not buy from eHobbyAsia just because of the ridiculous cost of shipping. The motorola headset, while not as awesome looking, should serve me just as well.

Snarf,
You can find headsets like that locally if you have a Radioshack or even a Gander Mountain nearby.
I personally run one of those ACM Bowman headsets, but the cheapy headsets found at the above mentioned locations are probably just as good and cost half as much. You won't look tacticool, but people will be able to hear you fine.
