Thanks, I like it, but yeah the grip does takes time to get used too. I've had my G17 for a while now, and never had reliability or trouble with it other than the plastic slide cracking. With the metal it runs great so far, it's pretty efficient still and shoots accurate. A friend of mine had a KSC G17 with a metal kit before, not one problem in 4 years, only things he added was the kit and upgraded recoil spring. I think we drilled out the flow valve in his mag too and he might have had a firefly rocket valve.
Another friend had a metal KWA G19 for 3-4 years, never had an issue. Mags and internals were always really good with them. We all got these back in the day before Mauri showed up on the GBB scene. Never used one of their gas guns but I hear they're really nice as well.
On the G19 as well, I prefer the g19 to the g17 actually. I just prefer compacts over full frame guns, probably just fit my hands better. I do prefer a full size 1911 to small frame versions of that gun though.
