I saw this a while back, and I cant seem to remember what it was called or where I found it. I drew a picture but I think it may make things more complicated so I will try to describe. It was like a battle belt but it only had molle webbing on the sides. Just two rectangles. It was connected and crossed in the back like a chest rig. Think of a shoulder holster, but instead of a pistol, think a rectangle of molle webbing. If this makes any sense to you, you must be one hell of an abstract thinker. If anyone knows the name of the rig or better yet, where to find it. Any help is appreciated. I will try to answer any questions to describe it further.

Tactical Tailor MAV or MAV II?
Edit: Damn you, Pagan... so fast.

Close. Imagine if the molle webbing ended where the suspenders come down.

Not really sure, the Mav two piece was the closest thing I could think of that matched your drawing.

The left side that I scribbled is the inside of that panel. The whole drawing is on a 45 degree angle. There is really no rig on the front. Just the sides of your body. EDIT The blue means there is nothing there. The red is a strap connecting the two sides.

HSGI used to make a modular shoulder rig, but their web site shows it discontinued. Google suggets that Tactical Tailor once had one too, but it no longer appears on their web site at all.

Bummer. But thanks for the info anyway Zorak. I know this isn't the place but if anyone has one, I'd be interested in it.
I'll try to look around some more.

I'm sorry for the double post. I can't modify for some reason. This is sort of unrelated but I may as well ask while this thread is here. Does anyone know where I can find a panel of molle webbing that runs across your lower back and connects to a chest rig?

No, that's just a battle belt. Something to fill the space on the back of your chest rig. If you're referring to my first post, its a lot like that, but I have pretty much given up on trying to find it.
Now I feel like a dick. I keep getting help but I'm so picky I'm turning it down.

I don't think anyone makes anything like what you're looking for. Primarily because unless you get something that splits apart in the front, like the MAV, you'd have no easy way to take it off or put it on having the back strap covered. If you don't want a full chest rig, why not either run a battle belt or an Eagle H-harness?

I was just wanting something that didn't waste space on your back, but I'll probably just wear a hydration carrier or some sort of small backpack.
I may just pick up a battle belt because its pretty inexpensive and would be nice to have in hot weather.
