I am looking at getting a reflex sight or a holographic EOTech replica (one of the 50 dollar ones), but I have noticed that many of the halo replicas have blurry reticles. Are there any better halo sights?

The glass on that one is tinted, and the dot isn't the BRIGHTEST, but you can get away with it. Build quality is nice, at least on the outside. The dot has some MILD ghosting, and it's worse on green, so don't expect Eotech sharpness if you do decide to get it. In ANY sort of low light situation, you're gonna hate it. Tinted glass sucks. Also.... no fake EOtechs are actually holographic.

This... My only complaint with my assorted sights that I bought while in Shanghai are that they all have tinted glass that blocks a substantial amount of light. In the future I will be making sure that they are not tinted.

Does anyone make an EOtech knockoff that doesn't have tinted glass? Because I've got to tell you, it really sucks! I have one, and that is my only complaint, and it is a really big complaint. I can see the reticle fine, just not anything that I'm aiming at!

I don't believe my replica has tinted glass, I've never looked at it that close but my sight picture is clear as day and I run the reticle at the lowest setting 100% of the time. I'll see if I can figure out who makes it.

My G&P 551 doesn't seem to have tinted glass.

I have a G&P B1 and I love it. There is no tinted glass, but if you look at it on an angle you can see a bit of mirroring. Is that what you're referring to?

I'll post a pic of mine tomorrow. Hopefully I can figure out how to capture the tint in the picture. I'd do it tonight, but I left my M4 at work.

Minus the broken lens this is what mine looked like before I sold it. Notice how much darker my carpet is when looking through the sight. If you shoot with both eyes open (like you should) then it's not too bad, but aiming with one eye is very difficult. This is identical to Tank's sight (I bought it for him when I bought mine.) The shop in china wanted me to pay like $300 each! I responded "I can by the real thing for that much!" If you go to China make sure you know how to bargain. Pretty sure I paid like $80 for two.
