What’s up my brothers? Well the time has come, The fishing boat will be up for sale this weekend, and all the money I make goes to my New hobbie Airsoft. I'm hoping it will be about 2K, to go towards all the gear, gun, mags, Load out etc. Wow This airsoft $hit adds up quick. For the Past few months I have been reading, searching, U-tubing and forum jumping, To soak up as much input as I can. The way I see it to Learn, is to go Play. I will make it to all the events as I can, I also can carpool if some needs a ride. I am hoping by the end of this month I will have a load out, goggles, everything I need, As for an FYI the M4 I will be getting is the KWA M4 ris. Stock is 150 feet and about 360-380 fps. I don't see the point of Lipo. This Sport of airsoft Is something that looks like a lot of fun, and something I know I can do well at. So I hope to be out on the fields with you all soon. A basic rule I set for myself. "Call your Hits, Play Safe, Have Fun"

I have that gun. Stock, I can reliably hit a target at around 180 feet. Anything beyond that, I'm lobbing shots. I'm putting a prometheus 6.03 TBB in it that is 455mm, so we well see how it does in a week. I also plan on doing the R-hop mod after OPNL.

Right now at this time I'm not going for a Ranger/ Marine's Loadout. Just gonna have the basic OD green plate carrier, and pouches. That way I can be on green team or tan team.

I would get khaki, coyote brown, or ranger green gear. No us forces really use od. Depending on what pattern of camp you use one would be more ideal than others. Coyote is more suited to marine patterns, ranger green ifs more suitable to army camo, and khaki works with everything!
My favorite is coyote brown.

You might want to think about getting some kind of uniform, whatever pattern that may be. While having a plate carrier and pouches are good, most airsoft events use uniform patterns to determine the teams. With the $2000 your investing into Airsoft from the sale of your boat, you'd pretty much have the pick of the litter with any gear you'll ever want. You seem like your very enthusiastic about playing for the first time, its always good to "try it out" first to see if you like it before investing a lot of money in it. Good luck in your first game!
