Hey, my name is Noth, and I have about 2-3 friends who shoot shit with me, but I haven't played a full game in like 5 years. I'd like to get back into it, but I have no idea where events/arena's are. I live in Fraser, on 14 mile road. Anywhere close to detroit is good for me. That area.

You should try either eastside airsoft of phoenix tactical. They are both in your general area and are great places to start out

The thing about that other one is that cost, for my first gun (at least) and it has the collapsing stock.

Echo 1 Red Stars are made by Cyma and rebranded by Echo 1, from what I understand.

Actually, from what I've been told, E1 has been making all their own shit for a few years now. When they first got started, it was different, but now Echo 1 is as close to an all-American airsoft company as you can get.

That red star is sex. I would but the full stock though because it makes me feel a bit tingly.

It seems to me that Echo 1 has been rebranding DBoy AKs as the Red Star Line. They seem very similar in materials and features, but I could be wrong. I looked into the Red Star Wolverine a while ago, and it seemed that the DBoy and the Wolverine were identical in every single way,of course the Echo 1 had an increased price tag.

I think the point of him getting a cyma was the price tag. For the amount of use it will get, it'll be fine.

Welcome to the forums! I would recommend going to Phoenix Tactical for games, but I hear East Side is a good place too. I know a few good guys (not on the forum) who have used these in the past and really liked them. It'll shoot a bit higher than 350 fps at first, but it'll level off about 350-340ish after putting a few hundred rounds through it. www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_237&products_id=5592
