So this is basically what my airsoft gun looks like right now (this is a picture from google, and is not my own).
I've seen pictures like this:
And think that looks DAMN sexy. I'm not certain what the proper scope size is though for a proper setup (I don't want to get a ridiculously huge scope, It is by no means a sniper rifle).
I like a very large eye relief, and a large field of view. It seems like an illuminated scope would be preferable, but I'm not certain how much that is needed (input please?).
A scope seems like its not something I want to skimp on (quality wise), and I'm very wary of the scopes I see around the airsoft web-sites. My rifle currently shoots around 400 fps and, with the long SL8 inner barrel and a nice hop-up, can reach a pretty reasonable distance for an assault rifle. I was thinking about a 40mm scope with around 9x maximum magnification, such as some of the NC Star scopes.
I've done my research, but I'm at the point that (since I have never owned a scope myself) I desire some input from the community about which direction I should take.
