Scenario:
The Associated Press (March 2nd, 2007) Dushanbe, Tajikistan- In the early hours of the morning, a well armed and organized group of soldiers of unknown origin have seized control of the capital city’s Parliament building and appear to have checkpoints set up throughout the city. Key Parliament and defense ministry members are reported to have been taken from their homes in the middle of the night, and their where-a-bouts are currently unknown. As for the President and Prime Minister their where-a-bouts are also unknown at this time. Local law enforcement appears to be disbanded as many of the capital city's municipal police stations appear to have been abandoned.
Currently the identity of this well organized army remains a mystery as are their intentions.
In a country that is host to NATO troops including U.S Army, and Marine Corps personnel for joint military training operations, once to Russian border troops and Tajikistan’s defense forces, experts are baffled as to how a well armed group of soldiers were able to easily penetrate the confines of the capital so easily with all of military presence surrounding the area.
Reuters (March 4th, 2007) Dushanbe, Tajikistan- Recently acquired photos has confirmed that the many of the occupying soldiers appear to be wearing a new type of camouflage currently being evaluated by the United States Army. Many of which also appear to be seen in a recently used camouflage pattern also once used by U.S. forces. Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has been in talks with Washington demanding answers based on this latest information. U.S. Govt officials however are denying any affiliation with the armed soldiers occupying Tajikistan’s capital city and have repeatedly told the press that they have yet to identify these unknown soldiers.
BBC World News (March 10th, 2007) Dushanbe, Tajikistan – After almost a week after photos were leaked of the occupying soldiers appearing to be wearing what is U.S. adopted camouflage, intel from a source familiar with the matters has informed BBC World News that the identity of the unknown soldiers is actually a Private Military Company known as Global Security, currently one of the largest international private military companies in the world.
Recently the U.S. Government ended their three year contract with Global Security, and latest news reports have revealed that Global Security personnel were conducting security operations of private oil fields and refineries in the country since 2003.
Global Security is currently headquartered in the city of Geneva Switzerland and it's been reported that U.N. officials have been unsuccessful in their attempts to contact Global Security representatives in regards to this matter.
U.S. Army and Marine Corps personnel are currently being deployed from forward operating bases in the northwest regions of Afghanistan and are expected to join NATO forces and cross the Afghan-Tajik border and egress on Tajikistan’s capital city of Dushanbe.
Global Security forces have now been reported to be scattered throughout the country side and their intentions are still unknown.
Due to the recently terminated contract with the U.S. Government, in retaliation, Global Security Forces plan on exploiting the current economic conditions and mounting civil war with Islamic Militants within Tajikistan by taking control of the country’s remaining oil fields and refineries while holding members of the parliamentary cabinet and many of the defense ministry members as hostages.
NATO and U.S. Forces are crossing the border and plan on establishing a foothold in the small town of Ayvadz where they will launch an offensive to liberate Dushanbe, however a garrison of Global Security Forces are anticipating their arrival and are setting up their defenses.
U.S Forces primary objective is to secure the small town of Ayvadz by gaining complete control of the AO and await for further orders as intel is received.
Global Security Forces primary objective is to prevent U.S Forces from gaining control of the town of Ayvadz, and disrupt U.S. operations in the AO by any means necessary. Global Security reinforcements are currently enroute, however due to limited resources at this time, reinforcements won't reach the town of Ayvadz for at least 6 hours.
Forces in play:
U.S. Forces: ACU, M81 Woodland, MARPAT
Global Security Forces: Multicam, contractor (khaki pants, black top), 3 color Desert
SQUAD INTEGRITY RULE:
Squad Integrity MUST be maintained! Players must remain with their designated squads during the entire game. Exception is when a player is moving to and from their re-spawn point. When a player re-spawns they must communicate with someone from their squad and re-join their squad as soon as possible.
If a squad has a 60% (i.e. 6 killed players out of a squad of 10 players) or greater casualty rate then the entire squad must head back to re-spawn to rejoin with the remainder of their squad. That includes the remaining players that are still in-game.
Squads can split in half ONLY for moving an objective, however as soon as the objective has been moved to its proper destination then the squad must regroup immediately. Squads can also spread out to cover a single location on the field. One squad CANNOT cover two different locations.
Exclusions to the Squad Integrity Rule will be the designated sniper teams. Sniper teams will be able to move independently within the AO with the exception of being able to spawn camp on the OPFOR's re-spawn point.
Spawn Points:
Each side will have a re-spawn point as designated on the map. Players can store water, loose ammo, and other equipment there.
hellsurvivors.com/pdf/fieldmap.pdf
U.S Forces re-spawn: Zulu Camp (9)
Global Security re-spawn: East Point (12)
Upon registration and prior to game launch each player will be given with a 1ft rope that they must attach on the front of them so that it is easily accessible by a medic.
Respawns will occur every 15 minutes for both teams at each side's designated respawn point. Clocks will be set at each team's respawn to designate times. First spawn is at 10:45, then 11:00, then 11:15, then 11:30 and so on. Game mods will blow whistles when respawns occur
Medic Rules: Each squad will have one designated medic who will have an arm band and will be provided with a stop watch. There is no minimum bleed out time so a killed player may walk back to respawn or wait for a medic should they chose. There is a 5 minute maximum bleed out time. A player may not wait for more than 5 minutes to be healed by a medic. After "bleeding out" for 5 minutes, a hit player must head back to respawn.
Every player will be given a length of rope. When healing a player, a medic must place one hand on the injured player for 60 seconds (as timed by the stop watch provided). After 60 seconds the medic will tie a knot in the healed player's rope.
All players can be healed a maximum of three times before they must return to respawn. After a player has three knots in his rope, the next time he is hit he must return to respawn, at which time he can untie the knots in his rope. An uninjured player can move a injured player by placing one hand on the injured player and must keep in physical contact while the uninjured player moves the injured player.
Ammo Restrictions:
No highcap magazines are allowed, except for support weapons.
No electric winding or high capacity magazines are allowed on any assault rifle unless it's a legitimate LMG variant (i.e M249, RPK, MG36, L86, etc)
You may carry up to 1200 rounds of ammo on you at any one time and in any configuration. You may not carry loose ammo beyond your allotted 1200 rounds. Loose ammo can be stored at your re-spawn point. Pistol ammo counts toward your 1200 round limit.
Support Gunners may carry up to 2,500 rounds of ammo if they are using a legitimate support gun.
Sniper Teams
Each side will have two sniper teams each composing of a sniper and a spotter. The spotter can also use a bolt action rifle should they chose. Designated sniper teams are excluded from the squad integrity rule and can move freely though out the AO (excluding spawn camping), however sniper teams MUST remain together.
Players can still use a bolt action rifle if they wish, however if they are not one of the designated sniper teams then they MUST follow the squad integrity rule and must operate with a squad.
Primary Objective:
Each team must raise a team flag at the following locations on the map. In order to successfully control their location to get points, the team must clip their flag onto the flag pole and raise their flag. Points will be assessed at the third and 6th hour of the game for every flag that is up for both sides.
Each team can attack the enemy team's flag locations by securing the flag location and successfully raising their flag, simultaneously lowering the enemy team's flag. You may not remove an enemy flag from the flag pole once it is attached, you may only lower it to raise your own.
Flag poles CAN NOT be moved.
Flag Locations:
Highlands (1)
Tippmann Towers (3)
Fort Not (5)
Westpoint (6)
Helicopter (8)
Archie Bunker (10)
City Tower (13)
Castle Rock (14)
Secondary objectives: Will be given out day of game for each side.
Radio Channels:
Ch 1: Ref/Emergency Channel
