Never seen that before. Quiet Ops were used, but a lot less. Any kind of headset used with that is gonna look really weird though. Just like the C4 it runs earbuds. The connectors on that also look a lot different than the real one.
Plus for what that provides, it is a huge PTT. It was always awkward trying to find a good spot for my old one. The buttons were somewhat annoying to use as well.

I would be wary of any ztactical comms products anyways, my comtacs never worked properly, but then again some people have had luck with them. As for the silynx, nacre and invisio ptts with earbuds, I never really understood what was so great. Sure, they have a few cool features that regular peltors or sordins don't have, but it seems like they just take away bulk at the ears where it's not even that big of a deal, and add bulk on your plate carrier where it is a big deal, all while adding like four buttons to the ptt to complicate things.

Please excuse the double post, as this is new content and not related to my above post. Mods if you find it necessary please feel free to merge the posts. Anyways, I finally took a picture of my WIP CAG/ACE 2011/2012ish kit. There is still quite a way to go until I'm totally satisfied, but it is finally coming together. Excuse the lack of accessories on the blaster, I sold my eotech and scout light and they will be replaced soon. As you might be able to tell, the biggest WIP is my skinny boy build.

What did you use to bundle the ptt wire? I have used e-tape in the past but ti leaves a nasty residue.
Edit- Fail, didnt look at the post your gear thread. I got it now.

Looking great man +1. I'm not sure how accurate it would be for CAG but I feel gen.3 Crye would make your WIP beautiful and I'm a bigger fan of the gen.2 AC style my self... just sayin'.

Thanks for the compliments. There aren't a ton of pictures to go from, but ACs still seem to be the norm from the few pics that have escaped. G3s haven't seemed to catch on in any SOF units except the custom woodland runs for MARSOC.

Buy my 6094, a PEQ15, a torch and throw some paint on that Specter. Then it will be beautiful.

Is that a medium OCPC (6094)? I'm probably going to put in an order for one soon.

Hit the Gym and pack the protein Zydbel. That's about the only thing your kit lacks

^That, and I would also loose the GK5 callsign patches. Because they are not custom and can be ordered from lots of websites, I have seen a lot of people wearing them. Kinda negates the idea of a custom/unique call sign.
