Just MCCUU does not an impression make. I'd like to see your kit when completed though! I understand. I'm eventually going to get a FROG uniform in the summer along with the weekend warrior SPC. I also have an ILBE assault pack on its way.

Figured I would post it, me in real kit but I own all of this with my own money, and use it in Airsoft: Eagle Industries Land CIRAS Eagle Industries M4 Double Stack Mag Pouches Eagle Industries Weapons Catch Eagle Industries MAP Allied Industries IFAK Eagle Industries MBITR Pouch Sidewinder Flashlight (White/Red/Blue/IR) Wolf Hook 1 Point Sling Black Diamond universal repel harness BlackHawk! Battle Belt Eagle Industries M9 Mag Pouch X 2 Safariland 6004 M9 Holster USMC Desert FROG This is my current rig in Afghanistan, pic taken approximately 4-5 months ago. Same as above as far as gear list goes with these exceptions: Eagle Industries SPC Tactical Defense Systems Shingle Mag Pouches (1 x 3's & 1x1's) Tactical Defense Systems Admin Pouch Hope it doesn't step on toes that these are actual pictures of me, I'm on the left in this second one and that's one of the guys I work with in the middle, he's actually a pretty bad ass war fighter. Ex-Mushahadeen type dude.

That's a terrible impression, Mosin. I know because I read kitlists on Arnies and GEARSOC all the time, and they never look like yours. You should get more accurate gear.
OK, for real, how weird would it be for you if somebody here took your kit list and made a Mosin impression?
[edit] Shit, I just realized I actually have the gear to get pretty close to your first list. I have a 1911 Safariland, pistol mag pouches to match, no rappelling harness and no flashlight. Plus, I don't have your winning smile. I should do a Mosin impression.

Um what? Helmet cover with rails?
The Marine Corps and I'm pretty sure Mosin can agree with this is broke and has a decent amount of old gear. There are jokes that the USMC get's what the Army doesn't want for example.
Check out Knife's Guide to a Marine Force Recon Loadout in the Impressions section of the forum.
All of your "suggestions" aren't proper for what he's trying to achieve.

Phillz, you should buy my issued USMC frog shirt. Still brand new. (-: Your kit looks pretty nice, some suggestions I'd say are hmm, helmet cover if that's possible with the rails and etc, tuck your pants into your boots better, tan gloves, a shemagh would be nice but not necessary, PACA soft armor, knee pads, and you can't go wrong with comms. but your load out isn't completed but those are just some tips. But looking good. Marines don't really tuck their boots in. They're either bloused or let loose. I've also never seen a helmet with rails unless I haven't seen everything ...

Love you guys That is all. I recently purchased a 1911 Safariland holster myself for airsoft purposes. Honestly my kit isn't anything special (Mainly just FSBE issue) but at least it gives most of the guys here something to go off of. Honestly I say screw EI M4 Mag Pouches. These TDS Shingle style are the way to go. Double stack messes up with your ability to prone out, and if you do a single stack straight across you can actually look up in the prone (For me anyways). So that's always good.

Hope it doesn't step on toes that these are actual pictures of me... Only because I'm jeally that you're authorized more ribbons than I am for our dress uniforms. Are you coming up on Petty Officer 2nd Class soon?

Authorized more ribbons? The only ones that are Navy specific are the last two, Rifle and Pistol Expert. We don't get badges so it kind of equals out there. The rest are USN/USMC ribbons, majority of them being unit blanket medals/ribbons (You were there during this time, you rate this & this ect) with the exception of the Combat Action Ribbon and the Good Cookie. I actually picked up 3rd on a combat meritorious out here, spent 3 years as an E-3 before I finally got it, but I doubt I'll see 2nd before I get out.
