So im looking for a gbb pistol, and am contemplating if I should get that or a Well MP5K gbb. I am wanting to play at cqb fields with one of these weapons. So what do you think I should get. A gbb pistol, or the Well MP5K?

Definitely not the mp5k, well is such crap. A pistol would be better, like a kjw if your on a budget, or kwa/ksc if you have a little $$. But you have to look at extra mags, and those can get pricey. I would say go with a smaller aeg, like a cqb m4 combat machine, or an mp5, etc.... You can hold more rounds with less mags, and you can use them for outdoor use aswell. Pistols really are not that effective outdoors unless your shooting hot, which you would need a pistol in case someone is inside your MED.
But, if your dead seat on a gbb for cqb, get the pistol, not the well.

I have a aeg, im looking for a side arm. I love that mp5k, I no its not dead accurate I just think it looks awsome, and as well would be great for cqb. I like pistols as well, but the mp5k I think would be more fun for cqb. I already have my aeg, I have a cyma ak74u its great, Just shooting to hot for cqb.
So does the mp5k suck from your experience, or just what you have heard?

Just performs like poo is all. Tolerances and build quality are sub par, even for a GBB. Theyre cool for what they cost, but a reliable gas blow back with auto capability costs lots more than that. For something that you HAVE to lug around all day, a pistol is a much more practical solution, and you get more bang for your buck, performance wise, despite not having full auto.
Now if you were insistent on an MP5K, I'd get a Galaxy AEG one if funds are tight, but if you can spare the money, the TM MP5k is legendary for many reasons which I'm too lazy to list right now. .

Im not set on it at all. I want a side arm, and am looking for a decent one. My price range is under 100 witch is defiantly practical for a good pistol. I was just browsing and saw that and caught my curiosity.
Any way if you had to get a pistol for under 100 what would you get?
Thanks for your guys help. I appreciate the quick reply.

I had a Maruzen and the Well MP5k. They were both great GBB's. The only thing I didn't like was the magazines. All you really need to do is reseal them real good and they work excellent.

Well if your budget is $100 I'd go with any kjw, they're just about $100, but airsoftgi gives free shipping + 15% off, so that'll put you under 100. But with an extra magazine or two, a holster, gas, and adaptor. You're looking at about $150, give or take. So I would save up a few bucks and get it once you have a bit more cash. And I wouldn't buy anything lower then kjw, they're a solid company for people on a budget.'

We, and a lot of other company's are great company's. Im not looking to blow all my money on a side arm. Im not rich by any means, I just want a quality side arm to perform for me in the field. Ive heard some good things about the mp5k, and some bad. So im leaning toward a pistol. I just need the pistol and the gas adapter. Evike is doing a special on select pistols you get a extra mag for like 3 dollars. So an extra mag will be no problume. I just need the propane adapter.

We is not a "great" company. They're prices arent that different from kjw. And that deal, I believe kjw is included aswell. You're better off going with kjw. But if you're ggoing to just go with your own opinion on the pistol, why ask? I can just about garuntee everyone will agree kjw is a better brand then we. I'd say it's like comparing a combat machine to a clone aeg. Higher quality parts coming out of taiwan vs. Lower quality coming out of china. At first they will "do the job", but a kjw will out last a we any day.

I'm not saying im going with my option. I want people's opinion, I will look at kjw because you said. But I've heard good things about we and others, but I no kjw is one of the best out there. Since you say we isn't as good, I will probably go with kjw. I just need to find the right price.

Don't get me wrong, kjw isn't anywhere near the best. They're just the best budget pistols. You can't go wrong with a kjw m9 or 1911 for only $100.

WE, isn't a very reliable company. By all accounts they are hit or miss, the majority of that ratio leaning towards miss. I own a KJW M1911 myself and they perform great. Even if you weren't looking at picking up a 1911, their other pistols perform very well for the price. They will serve you well.

Frag,
Please clean up your grammar. "im" is a contraction, necessitating an apostrophe and the word "I" should always be capitalized (thus, you should always write "I'm"). You also need to use the correct form of words, in this case "know" instead of "no."
As to your question, Dev and Biz are right about WE. They're not that great. Like most of the guns coming out of China, quality control is your biggest issue. Some folks get a WE that runs well for a long time, but those people are mostly in the minority. The best way I can describe their guns is sloppy. There's slack in the part fitment, the slide wobbles like crazy, the mag seals are junk, the recoil spring is soft, all of that kind of stuff. I've been much more satisfied with my KJWs over the years.
That's not to say that KJWs are perfect, but in your price range they're the best you're going to do. Check out their inventory, ignore the USP (their first model ever, not so great), and pick your favorite style.

I'm starting to lean more toward the kjw pistols. Do they have any glock style pistols? I've been looking for those for a while but haven't really seen them. I've heard glock will not let company's license there name. Is that true? Also I've only seen the glock style come in 2 pieces, the upper slide, and lower hand grip, why is that? From everyone saying kjw I will probably be buying it today. I just need some help finding the 1 I want.

The upper and lower your seeing on evike can be purchased and will make a complete pistol, mag and all. Why they do that, I'm not sure. But you will not be able to get the free mag with the holy cow special because it is not a hi-capa 1911 or m9. But on the upside, 50 round magazines are sexy, just will cost you a bit more cash.
