The paintball place is charging the $15 dollars, not Airsoft Ohio. Do you expect this retail establishment to let us play there for free?

Hey, if you guys are wanting to rent something, I would recommend www.rentawreck.comThey rent slightly older vehicles (like 2-3 years old) as opposed to brand new vehicles, and its a lot cheaper, and the requirements are a lot more relaxed. For example you only have to be 16 to rent from them (as opposed to 25 everywhere else). Just so you know, my brother owns a franchise. ;D |

Don't know exactly Retraw, but some members of the Airsoft Ohio board are pushing for a 2 day event. Which wouldn't be too bad really, I mean if we're going to go down there we might as well make the trip last as long as possible.
What I'd like you all to do is to let me know if you're interested at all in going so I can send a player count to DumboRAT.

Count me in for now! I should be able to come, but we'll see what happens as plans get more finalized. Once again Viking has disappeared, so we don't know what he's thinking  He had brought up the idea of renting some transportation to carry all of us down there... Whatever happens, maybe we could all meet up at my house as a sort of pre-staging area, then head out from there. I haven't seen it mentioned here, and don't know who all has read the actual thread at AO, but there is a paintball mask requirement for this game. You must have paintball goggles and mask, not tactical goggles or balaclava or whatever. I think it was stated that rental mask/goggles will be available, but....ewwwww! |

All, I actually dont know the start/end times, I just posted a message asking for someone ot clarify that. Normally our events are 10am - 5pm.
Yes, the field owner's insurance requires us to wear full paintball masks, we are not really happy with it either, but we dont have any say in the matter. Rentals will be available for $7, but bring some lysol, I have nothing else to say.

Just wanted to float this back into the minds of those thinking of attending. I see no one from MI has registered for this event over at the AO boards, perhaps we should do that soon eh? We need to start getting plans finalized for transportation and whatnot, and to see who *for sure* plans to make it. I know I will probably drive down there alone if none of you guys go, so lets get crackin on plans here folks.

Aye, Minky I know. The only reason I haven't registered yet is because I wanted to finalize plans here before I do anything else. Didn't want to sign up and commit to something only to not go due to poor planning.
Since it's almost January we need to start planning this a little better folks. Like I said before, I need people to either leave a message here or send me a personal message if you're SERIOUSLY interested in attending the event. I need a player count first before I can make other plans.
