Agreed, Knief I yield. He's not wrong. A parent that was allowed on the field claimed to be a referee at one point and gave our team orders that they followed. But as I said I am done, good night and goodbye.

You have to look at the reasons behind it, green team didn't move unless they were pressured too. I was on green team I know they pointed a gun at me, all that said to me was how about I move the fuck out of the way before I get shot. I guess some people didn't think the same and got shot.

All i can say is WOW. I'm sorry you have to deal with these guys wraith, they really just fail to see the principal your trying to bring up to them. I too was at that game and from my eyes saw some very upsetting things coming from the refs. From what i heard one of the refs wasn't even suppose to be there, but really guys this is the wrong thread to be talking about this. we should just move on. I would honestly like to hear about the other upsetting things. Its good to find out where we can improve. I don't mind that it is in this thread as it is related to the way our team runs games. We may learn a thing or two. Also the refs are not prohibited from going anywhere on the field. What point is it to have a ref if the ref can only go to a limited area? Simon I personally would have greatly appreciated it if you mentioned something to me during the game. It would have probably led to a better understanding then and would have prevented you and your friend from leaving unhappy.

Just because this seems to be the discussion thread for the event, is there any way that the hellfish could even out the teams skill wise. Last time it was oda+pt+some hellfish vs noobs.

Ohhhhh, that guy. Yeah, that was CQBR's dad. He was not a ref and was in no way affiliated with either The Hellfish or Matrix. He was a photographer who we found out deep into the day was giving out bad information on rules and such. I talked to him about it after I realized what was going on. It's not that he wasn't allowed there, but he was overstepping his bounds.
BM_5,
We do our best with that. But when all of the noobs show up wearing the same two camo patterns, both dark green, it's hard to split them up without everybody suffering from friendly fire issues. For Tripoli, we were doing everything we could just to make sure that each team had the numbers to even compete. Skill level had to be secondary when we were in the position of switching the entire third team just so the numbers weren't stacked 3:1.
