As I recall, your judge shot MY team member from within 5 ft using a high end GBB pistol at minimum of three (3) times. all he was doing was standing behind cover. At the time we were not receiving fire from anyone. I don't remember that or have heard anything about that. Do you remember who it was? That doesn't sound like anything I or knief would do and we do most of the moderating. The ONLY times we have checked hit calling was at a distance of at least 20-30 feet and we always aimed for a vest (an area where the shot would be heard but not felt). If it was to motivate anyone to move, it usually comes with a lengthy warning before any shots are fired. and again the intention is to shoot at an area where the shot would be heard but not felt. It's possible that your team mate was shot by a hellfish that was playing at the time.

How will the staging area be "heated?"
And for the record, if one of the referees shoots a player, it has to be for a good reason... Regardless of how many times.

It was for motivation, was about 10 guys behind one small wood pallet.

That was Guns McBen. The entire green team was hunkered behind three or four bunkers in one corner of the field getting their asses handed to them by the tan team for about 20 minutes. You all spawned in, found the nearest cover, and waited behind it until somebody killed you. So, Ben gave your team some much needed motivation. He told everybody there that he was going to start shooting people who stayed put for more than 30 seconds. Everybody moved up but your friend. Ben told your friend directly that he would shoot him if he didn't move (keep in mind that the rest of the team was pushing the line a good 75-100 feet past that point at the time). Still, your friend didn't move. So Ben shot him in the vest. He still didn't move, so Ben shot him again. He had the gun drawn and gave multiple warnings, which your friend ignored. He was then shot by an airsoft gun at an airsoft game, which you know, happens. Also the threat worked. The green team made a big push and drove the tan team back up the hill for a bit.

The shot in the back was with my sniper rifle on purpose. He was lucky I aimed for his drop pouch. And that "push" got them all killed and left just me with my bolt action sniper defending the money against 5-8 tans with assault rifles and a LMG.

Regardless, he gave warnings so it was warranted. Also dying is part of airsoft.

What? He was using his brand spankin' new TM M1911A1. What shot are you talking about? I'm not entirely sure we're describing the same situation. This was at the bottom corner of the field near the entry point and the lower side of your team's respawn. The push didn't last forever because your team never established any actual team work, and thus couldn't sustain the push. But your guys did move tan back quite a bit before they fell apart. We can only motivate you so far, you've got to keep the rest up on your own (which is hard to do when you all hunker behind the same bunker until a ref tells you to move).
BM_5,
We didn't even count it as a hit. It was outside of the course of the game, so it was entirely motivational. He stayed in the game until a tan player presumably hit him.

Yea I know, I was one of the ones hunkered behind the bunkerish thing. I don't think he know what he's talking about I remember a pistol.

A JUDGE is an impartial person that ensure fairness and that rules are followed. This was the first game where I saw a judge shoot players because they played how they wanted to. Either play and affect the game that way or judge and let the game flow as it may. The shot in the back of the judge, as in I shot the judge.

We try to motivate players and keep them from hiding in the same spot all day. Its not any fun for any players when nothing is happening and both sides are taking pointless pot shots at each other at long distances. We are not impartial and we do try to affect the game for the purposes of getting people to move on both sides. Plus it was a rec game with unlimited respawns and no prizes. I could see it being an issue for a larger milsim game but a rec game? We're talking about a rec game? Unlimited respawns and months later you still have hard feelings? assets.diylol.com/hfs/dd7/715/8bc/resized/iverson-practice-meme-generator-practice-we-talkin-bout-it-fca9a8.jpgwww.youtube.com/watch?v=frsId3goYYEIf you do not like the way we run our games you are more then welcome to stop attending and run your own games. I'd be more than happy to give you the contact information to several local fields. If you can get upset by getting shot at an airsoft game then this sport isn't for you

I don't mind getting shot, that's not the point. What I minded was how the game was ran. And as a matter of fact I will be running my own MilSim this summer. Maybe you'll stop by.

We're impartial in that we don't care who wins. We're not impartial in that we don't care what happens, as ARC said. Your entire team was pinned, and this was our third attempt to push them into an even fight. The first two were successful for as long as we were yelling and pushing your teammates. Hell, on the first one you guys drove the tan team all the way back to their respawn and pinned them for half an hour. That kind of back and forth makes the game more enjoyable for everybody, and that's what we're there to provide. Your team was capable of controlling the game, but couldn't put together any kind of offense (or really, defense) without somebody else telling you what to do. So, we told you what to do and how to do it, and it balanced out the game. I'm willing to bet that more players on both sides were appreciative of it than were upset by it.

All i can say is WOW. I'm sorry you have to deal with these guys wraith, they really just fail to see the principal your trying to bring up to them. I too was at that game and from my eyes saw some very upsetting things coming from the refs. From what i heard one of the refs wasn't even suppose to be there, but really guys this is the wrong thread to be talking about this. we should just move on.

What the hell are you even talking about here? Is this the "let's just make shit up and see what sticks" approach?
