tested it today. The Rocket is a modified kit that costs $13, and the 4 motors costs $6. A total of $21 with tax, or $5.25 for each shot if the rocket is only used 4 times(can do more). Compared to about $400 for a CO2 AT-4 with $60 shells, it's not bad at all. The rocket launcher uses a 9v battery(estimated 10-17 shots until dead), and features a safety switch, LED live indicator, Guide rack design, and a fire button. The first time we fired at a field, it didn't go off(the battery turns out to be from '09). I was bummed with fear of failure, but we went and got new batteries to try again. This time the field was being used, so we built a protective "net" barrier, and took safety precautions. Last thing we need is a fire or to hit a neighbor. After the fist shot, we were jumping with joy. That missile was not perfectly cut(fin length), but is was VERY accurate. The last rocket landed in dead brush and leaves, and there was no fire, the motor was out before it landed(there is no parachute charge too). Also, the cone is plastic during testing, but I am making a custom foam head for the actual rockets. The foam will make the hit not even hurt, and I will be testing on myself of course to prove it's safety when I make a new rocket. Rocket after hitting the barrier and net 4 times: I had an HD video of this, but Youtube kept freezing while uploading. tried for 2hrs. Thread on it: omnicidesquad.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=thegallery&thread=227&page=1#ixzz1rtCgOp31I would make a thread here, but I don't know exactly where it'd belong.

We have to login to see that thread. Yeah just remembered that. Our leader recently made the site private. I'll make a thread on here under "Airsoft discussion". If it doesn't belong there, the mods can move it.

Did you guys ever try hitting something more than 10 feet away? I'm not sure a claim of accuracy can be made when the basis of that claim comes from such a short distance.

We were limited to about 50(?) feet though because of space. Please discuss in new thread to less clutter this thread.

Yes, people are still signing up. Let them know your camo/side. I haven't been following the locked/unlocked status, but MAD side might be temporarily locked right now, due to trying to even sides.
