Can a regular 30mm, threaded killflash fit on a SpecterDr?

I don't believe the Specter DR is threaded. The real one doesn't appear to be. Here's an example of a real Elcan killflash: www.botachtactical.com/elcankillflash.htmlAnd the one for the real DR would run you almost 60 bucks.

Real DR's are indeed threaded. The kill flashes on them are threaded as well but with a wide thread so nothing is stripped and gets stuck in the optic lens. The replica ones do have threads but a completely different pitch. I owned the very first gen replica before I bought a real one so maybe they have changed by now. I doubt it though since I believe they use the small thread on the replicas to secure the front lens and housing shroud/cover. You are more than welcome to try it out if you happen to catch me with mine though. The real one should definitely fit with modification though. It wouldn't be very hard at all. I snapped some pics of mine if you want to see for yourself.... Also, in case you've never used/handled a kill flash before...They're not indestructible covers of doom that will never break. As you can see on one of my pics this one took a BB hit from what I'm guessing was pretty far and still made a dent in the honeycomb. Most people think they are made of metal but it is really a coated papery substance that is VERY easily chipped or chunked off when hit by something. I had one for my Trijicon a few years back that took some pretty bad hits and I was surprised how weak they were for airsofting. But, it's better than breaking a $2500+ optic I suppose. Edit: Fixed broken links
