You know, a friend of mine got a part custom made for his AR-15 (real steel). They milled a small block of aluminum with a CNC machine to make his custom flashlight mount. Granted, he already took the measurements and then drew up the CAD design. But it didnt cost him a lot to get it made If you got the measurements and looked around im sure you could find someone who could take up this project.
Also, your blaster looks great! You should post this on the arnies forums. Those guys always go crazy for custom work.

As much as I HATE Marine kits, your blaster would make any Marine kit look kewl. To agree with what was on the first page, please please please do this: It's soooo close to being perfect. G&P makes the replica TA11. It's the older model, but who cares. Clone RMR just came out, and LaRue throw lever is easy too. KAC micros haven't been cloned yet, but you can get by with the standard Mk18 front and the 600m rear sight. KAC bitch grip is easy as well.

PEQ-16's look wonky as fuck, PEQ-15's all the way. Then again, I understand why you'd want one to make it as realistic as possible.
Can't wait to see the finished product though, it looks great so far!

Stock rails are 9 Inches long. I had to increase the length of the rail to 11 Inches to meet the specs of the M27. Thank you, was a tad confused!
He added a section of rail to it to increase the overall length of the rail. The standard 416 rail is shorter than the M27 rail and there is currently no production M27 rail for airsoft or pretty much anything else on the market that would work.
That is a good point too.

Wow, that's pretty stunning work. The parts list for accessories that you're waiting for look like exactly what it should be. I'm looking forward to the final pictures with the optics/accessories on it.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It doesn't look too bad with an ABS Body... I have nothing else to say
It's sturdy as all hell to boot so I'm extremely happy.

In the pictures, both the plastic body and the rail look fantastic. I'm very impressed with the job you did on the rail, it looks like it came from the factory that way.

Maybe I missed it, but how did you join the rail pieces together? Epoxy?

Maybe I missed it, but how did you join the rail pieces together? Epoxy? iceberg - Epoxy mainly. When I get enough spare time the "fatter" rail will be sanded flush and I'll use bondo to smooth out the joints a bit. @timm - I'll be sticking with the ABS body, no reason not to at this point. Accessories are starting to Arrive... expect new pictures soooooon
