Well I never did hear what the outcome was, but I'm guessing that green lost by quite a bit. Although our fight over deadwood at the end was our best effort of the day. This game was definitly not very milsim-ish, but still went very well. The objective system and props were good as always, but for one of these to really work as a milsim, we have to have more teamwork, communication, orginization, and more agressive players. With the relativley young and new player body, its very hard to pull of a good milsim.
Otherwise this game went much better than I expected. Canto and gang, thanks for having us. It was great seeing friends and some new faces!

I think green put up a valiant effort but could have been more aggressive throughout the day. Communications and team work did help the Tan side a ton.
the event planning was great, props were nice and the objectives were well thought out. I really enjoyed how the objectives kept coming fast and furious. The Green team taking Deadwood at the end was awesome and the rocket finale was quite spectacular.
My only problem was that the game itself didn't start until noon, then there was an hour break at 3 and then it was all over by 5. I'd like to see a longer scenario without a lunch break in the middle.

Great game! I think that the chaos and lack of communication on the green team was fairly realistic for the Taliban. Their assault at the end was pretty awesome. Canto, you put together another great scenario. Thanks to all who showed up and made for a great day! Tan team - you guys did a spectacular job! I agree with Tuck, the day was quite short for the price, and travel time. Damage, Inc. will be back again!

I want to thank you all for coming out. It was good to get in some trigger time again. The water and muck still sucked but, whatever i enjoyed the cold breeze. I really enjoyed the competent communications on Tan team. I barely saw green at all but i managed to sneak in a couple kills.
Those compressed rifles were really interesting! I'd probably be interested in checking those out down the road myself. Highlight- Tackling Glass in Deadwood, Defending Deadwood.
I got about 15 heals this time. Need to update my card badly!

First of thanks to all who came out. I was glad that the weather held out for the weekend, I was hoping for a weekend minus rain. I agree with ya Dingo, that it just didn't have that 'Milsim' feel to it. I'll see what we can do about improving that for future events. It was good to see you guys again. Friar Tuck/Android- Unfortunately, we're a rock in a hard spot on this one. We've attempted events without a lunch period before, and had issues with players complaining about there being no lunch period... However, more than likely we'll just start the event earlier in the day.

Friar Tuck/Android- Unfortunately, we're a rock in a hard spot on this one. We've attempted events without a lunch period before, and had issues with players complaining about there being no lunch period... However, more than likely we'll just start the event earlier in the day. That's pretty typical; damned if you do, damned if you don't. That's what sucks about leading and hosting these types of things, you can never please everyone. Starting earlier would be an acceptable compromise in my eyes. 10 am would be alright by me. Get up and leave earlier, have more game time then lunch. This is especially important on standard time days when the sunset is earlier. That all being said, the little things that I noted wouldn't keep me from attending your events. I look forward to next year's games.
