Well guys, my good friend and Airsoft pal Brian Greeson (Little B on the forums..doesn't post much) has graciously offered to host an alternative Airsoft game on the 23rd of February. He lives in Tecumseh, MI, and has 10 acres, but...he's gotten permission to use some very nice woodland property close to where he lives. He and I will be the event organizers for this skirmish and everybody is welcome (Airsoft Ohio included). The event won't happen if we don't get any support, so if nobody's interested, I'll just cancel this soon. I'll set a minimum of 6 guys for the event to go through, and even then that's pretty dern small...but better than nothing. ;D The games will probably be capture the flag, team elimination, and maybe a sweet free-for-all to spice things up and waste ammo at the end, sound fun? Post on this thread so I can see if this will even happen. Tecumseh is...according to Mapquest which is always off by 15-30 minutes...an hour away from Toledo, Ohio, so guesstimate 25-45 minutes from Ohio, really I'm not sure. Thanks for your time fellow Airsofting dudes.

Nope, this is a totally alternative event that will take place *regardless of Havok's event.* Brian (Little B) and I would've just been playing against each other but we thought it would be a ton more fun for some other people to play. Primarily this event would be for people who didn't want to go all...the way down to the border of Michigan and Ohio, the people in Toledo, and anybody else. Or it'll just be a flop with Brian and I. Brian and I will iron out all the details soon, but please ask any questions you might have.

Newman?, What are you doing?
Why would you make an event on the same day as Havok's? I understand you're worried about playing on land without permisson, but Havok has been working hard to find another field during the last couple of days. There's already quite an interest in his event from both Michigan and Ohio so I don't see why you'd want to split the crowd here.
Wouldn't it be better to have your game at a later date?

Ach, I knew you'd post about this. The reason I'm having this is because Little B and I weren't planning on attending that event, were going to just play against each other, then decided to invite some people. Didn't mean to "divide" the people, really it's for the guys who can be assured that a game will be played on that date. Nobody has to come ...it'd be nice to have more than just us two though. I talked to Havok when he took me home from the Jan.26th event, and after weighing the consequences of playing there (he mentioned how he told the owner beforehand "that a few friends would come"...not 20 guys...and now the land problem) and Little B and I decided we'd just play on our own and invite some guys. Hado, if you really think I'm doing the wrong thing by inviting other people to come, you can delete this thread and nothing will happen. I do hope you think about my reasons, though.

Nah, I'm not going to delete anything Newman ol' pal. Just thought it was a little strange is all. I was under the impression you DID want to go to Havok's game, but due to the recent changes made other plans.
The 10 acre lot does sound rather good, especially considering the other places we've played lately. Would it be possible to have some more events there in the future? And if yes, take your digital camera and snap a few pictures for me please.

If Havok's event falls through, my friends and I will go to your alternate event.

Hado-I definitely will....AND...we're going to make MOVIES!! Woohoo! I got Adobe Premier 6 (trial version...but it'll still work till March something...yes I have the crack somewhere around here...) so I'll be churning out some great Airsoft movies! Just imagine..."Michigan Airsoft proudly presents Operation: Hyperion"....*enter music*. Woohoo!
Firebird-I'll be posting the location of the event soon, so you can get an idea of how long it'll take to get there.

Lookey up there, Ammo. ;D
I'll just review the presented information, so...
It will be in Tecumseh, Michigan, close to where my friend (Little B) lives. We will probably meet at his house and then carpool to the field which is less than five minutes away.

No, this won't be an Airsoft Ohio game. Basically, this is just going to be a "for-fun" and "bring your own bb's" and "play till you run out of ammo" event. ;D This wasn't going to be big event like Havok's, so if you don't want the "small event, get to know everyone pretty well" feeling, I wouldn't recommend coming. But if you don't mind that small-event feeling, feel free to come. EDIT: The event will start at the following location: 5875 Rogers Highway, Tecumseh, MI 49286 Meet at that location at precisely 0930 hours. If you can't see the numbers...a little hint might be that a boulder lies on each side of the driveway. Make sure to charge your batteries before the game, although we will have a large quick charger and mini slow charger at the house. After meeting, we will carpool to the field which is less than a mile away. No electricity at the field, except for the large quick charge can be hooked up to a car. If you'd like to send an e-mail to me and just tell me that you're coming, that'd be great. My e-mail is n3on3al@yahoo.com. Hope to see you there!

Well, the directions are posted above, but I'm thinking that nobody's coming to this event since Havok's event is going through. Anybody coming? I don't mind, it'll just be Brian versus me anyway, but it'd be nice to have maybe two other guys come.

Don't roll your eyes when you plan an event on the day of another skirmish, ya doof! I may make it to havok's game, I just wish he'd post the field location so I could get a better idea of where it's at, and maybe check out the location before this weekend....

The reason for this event was to be an alternate event if Havok's wouldn't go through, since it seemed that way awhile ago...
I don't mind if noone comes, I'd just like to have this post deleted or someone reply before it happens (which it will in any case).
