It looks like it might be better as a universal camo, but it definitely doesn't look as green (or as new) as what was pictured in the original release. Still cool, but less exciting.

I actually like the updated version better than the original release photo's. The originals were way too neon green. Great if you're in Laos or Cambodia, but not so much in a temperate climate.

Oooh, it's even prettier than the tan version! I want both sets, too. Can't wait for it to come out!

I really want to like it, but looking at my AO I've got to say that Multicam is still King here in Michigan to me.
Problem with Multicam though is that sometimes it looks really green and sometimes it looks really tan. I know some people complain about Multicam at airsoft events when you're dealing with tan vs green force on force. ATACS being now available in two different color variations clearly it might be a nice new alternative for airsoft.
I understand that ATACS will come out with a Winter version and I'm really interested in what they would do for winter.

Do you think it will make it difficult to distinguish between Green and Tan teams with the ATACS-FG?
When teams wear woodland for green and dcu for tan it's very easy to tell teams apart, but when you get into Multicam it can be a bit more difficult. Wondering if ATACS-FG is going to present the same issue.

It'll probably be as hard to distinguish as multicam, which I've never had a real problem distinguishing. Communicate with your team, know where people are moving to and from, and you'll have fewer issues.

For anybody still interested, Beez Combat has released some A-TACS FG stuff: www.beezcombatsystems.com/Propper still has the BDUs listed as pre-sale on BDU.com and epropper, but they should hit the market soon. My guess is they're building up enough stock to distribute.
