Hats off to you sir. That is an excellent weapon you are building.
Let me know how the MG42 works out. I would love to see it.

Very nicely done. Do you know Killbucket on ASM? He also made an M2HB and has the plans for it available for free on his website, along with a variety of other projects- including an MP7-based minigun.

Killbucket isn't well regarded so much now though. He started taking orders for certain weapons and just never delivered on em and dumped all the funding into new projects in his "R&D department", rather than completing orders he had.

Not to bash killbucket, but his designs are a elaborate AEG made from PVC sheet. Mine is a gas powered steel monstrosity that actually shakes you around a bit, and makes a god awful mechanical noise (as opposed to an AEG that sounds like your grandmothers sewing machine). I really don't want to take in orders right now, as I will not be able to complete them in A timely manner. I will keep all of you posted on the progress of this project, and future projects as I start them.

Yes, please. Do that. I require you to attend, El. I figured we can discuss this replica attending Northern Light here instead of cluttering up another thread. It's possible that I could have this finished up by the end of May if I don't have too many "other distractions". The other thing is that this is a truly crew served system. You will need 3 people MINIMUM to move it around. Real M3 Tripods are expensive (about $1,000). I have seen reproduction ones for about $650, but that's still A good chunk of change. I also need to know what Mr. Lu has to say on the whole mess, and if I need several paintball style HPA tanks, or if we can carry around a SCUBA tank.

Oh that's right. I forgot how massive it was. You should still come to that game though. We are forming an all MIA team so we can welcome all the outsiders in style and send them home fearing MIA.

My jaw literally hit the floor. Really? This MUST be you then, and you were probably sitting on the floor already....

I guarantee no personal vehicles at John Lu's games.

If there are humvees, he could probably mount it up on one of them.
Additionally, watch at 2:20 of this clip:

Strange. They told us no personal vehicles when WE first went, Psy. And its known that the Green Mountain Rangers got bicycles banned.
