This is something that I have wanted to build for several years now. Now that I have the space and freedom to enjoy my hobbies, I started on this about 6 months ago.
The receiver plates are 3/8 steel, the trunion is fabricated from some 1" steel (and smaller bits). Top & bottom plates are 3/16 steel, feed cover is 3/16 steel. Barrel support was made from A 10" long piece of SOLID 4" round stock. Buffer plate/grip does have slots machined in it, allowing it to be removed much like "real steel". Barrel started as 1" iron pipe, and other parts have been added as needed to look and function right.
The recoil system is A 3/4" by 1" air cylinder, and solenoid control valve. The recoil will actuate a modified autococker paintball gun, and hopefully allow me to fire 3 to 5 BB's safely and consistently.
Here is my most recent test video.

I would make sweet love to it while giving it a reach around. Let me know if you need any specs etc for this one. Haven't forgot about that other side project either.

That may be one of the sexier things I've seen all day. And my day has been busy.

He deserves a custom title for this. Something like "I'm so cool I made 80% of the guys on MIA cream themselves over my awesomeness." Its kind of rough but its also 2 am and I don't feel like being very creative. MIA make a better title.

El's custom titles can only be El-isms. You have to know him to know what I mean, but trust me--the things he says are the best things to caption him with.
I don't believe you finally pulled it off, man. This was years in the making and it looks fucking great. Now you just need to come back here and show us how to use it.

I don't believe you finally pulled it off, man. This was years in the making and it looks fucking great. Now you just need to come back here and show us how to use it. It's not THAT surprising I have pulled this off, considering a significant selfish, demanding, bitchy obstacle has been removed from my life. As a result, I bought a Systema PTW, go airsofting whenever I damn well please, BOUGHT A HOUSE, and build whatever I want in my garage. ( could give you guys a full update on my last 4 years, but this is not the place for such things) Future projects include a pair of MG42's made from parts kits built on EPAR principles (One of these is a commission from a friend), and A Russian style Maxim. (my girlfriend is big into WWII airsoft. Yes, I met my girlfriend AIRSOFTING!) I would love to come sling plastic with you guys again. For next year, let me know if there are any events that allow the use of vehicles on the field. I will have a mount for my Ford Ranger and SCUBA tank to power it. It will be some time before I can get A proper tripod (reproductions are over $600, real ones $1,000) and several paintball HPA tanks (this replica re-defines the term "Gas Pig").

That's for sure. Brandy was a bitch deluxe. But that aside, I'm not surprised you did it, it's exactly the kind of thing you can pull off. I'm more just excited to see that it finally happened. I mean, you were talking about it a year or two before you moved. It's awesome to see it in action.

..... I'm more just excited to see that it finally happened. I mean, you were talking about it a year or two before you moved. It's awesome to see it in action. It seems like I came up with the idea and general design before that, but anyway you look at it, its been a long time coming. If I can build a CNC plasma cutter table and buy a better milling machine, I may start building more airsoft M2HB's out of aluminum instead of steel. Oh god, I have WAY too many projects lined up right now.....
